The room was big and clean. The hotel was nice and close to the border.

The bed was uneven and too soft. Breakfast was not amazing and it was offered on paper plates and plastic utensils. The coffee was watered down. The door to our room would not close properly if we did not push it into place. The location was not really close to many restaurants or shops.

overall i like the hotel it was very clean

the parking, i have a electric car that needs to be charged i did not mind paying the 10$ fee for the parking but there were people there charging there car who were not staying at the hotel. they were sleeping inside there car and charging it. it was not convenient that the hotel guests had to wait to charge. management should monitor that more

Breakfast was lovely and the make-your-own waffle section was a particularly nice touch! Location was good with quite a few restaurant options nearby. The room was a good size, it was clean with plenty of towels provided. The front desk staff were attentive and informative, and provided a really friendly welcome (thank you Ahndria!)

I feel that calling our room 'Bay View' is a bit over rated. You could just about see the Bay.

Location is close to my friends, family and activities . Enjoyed breakfast bar. Room accommodations are excellent.

Overall facility seemed to be under repair. I noticed a gentleman who came in from outside who stayed during much of the breakfast buffet everyday. Perhaps they are providing breakfast for a IB resident? Bar was closed my entire stay.

This hotel exceed my expectations, it was beautiful, clean and very bright too. The rooms were comfortable and big. It had a large gym that I didn't use but would have loved. Very close to the beach, and several options to eat nearby.

The breakfast wasn't the best, I don't like when I taste the "fake" food.

Extremely clean! Friendly receptionists! Room was nice and bright! Had a 24 hr mini mart in the lobby! Dog friendly and 5 min from a big dog park! Located Across the street from a CVS that’s 24hrs, literally on same strip as Starbucks, 5 guys, baskin Robbin’s, wingstop and Chipotle. Ideal hotel and felt like a safe environment. Breakfast was also great!

There isn’t anything that I disliked about this property.

The room was very clean and the temperature was already set to 72 so I didn't have to wait for it to heat up or cool down. Staff was very personable and helpful. I especially liked the location. There are stores and several places to eat within a short walking distance. Lastly, the breakfast was good. Eggs, bagels, toast, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, whole fruit, juice, coffee, tea, oatmeal with all the fixings - nuts, cranberries, granola, brown sugar, etc. They also have a restaurant and bar that opens in the afternoon with a wide variety of affordable options. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Not really a complaint, but location not near a lot of restaurants etc, though they run a nice bar with a creative bar menu.

Close proximity to everything. Parking and comfortable room.

Coming out onto PALM, it’s a one way so you have to go down a block and make a U Turn to go the other way towards Coronado. No big deal after we figured out we could go out the back way.

Exceptionally clean hotel with great gym. Good breakfast and close to shops and a few fast food restaurants

A little off the beaten track if you want to be closer to main tourist areas of SD. But low price makes up for that, if you have a car
