Stunning hotel, pool area and beach. Amazing food, especially the puddings. Great housekeeping. Apartment had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

There are steps everywhere. There is a ramp to access the pool area but you have to do a lot of steps to access the beach which is not at all ideal with a baby, pram etc. The kids splash park area isn't included which was deceiving from the hotel pictures, and was very expensive so we did not go. The main meats within the restaurant were cooked very slowly and often not available when you went up to get your food.

Excellent location right next to a small beach. Sheltered bay great for swimming - the sea was warmer than the hotel pool in September. Accommodation was faultless. We were travelling with family, including a baby, and stayed in the newly renovated apartments right next to the pool. We loved the large terraces with sea view, the very comfortable beds, the fully equipped kitchen, the modern design and storage options and the cleanliness of the apartments. We opted for half board which was good and ideal for an early dinner for the baby, but ended up eating out a few nights. It’s a 15 -20 walk into the centre of Cala d’Or where there’s a great buzz and plenty excellent restaurants and cocktail bars. This fabulous place ticked all our boxes for a family holiday in the sun. We can’t wait to visit again.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The location is stunning!!!!!! 99% of the staff were amazing and very helpful. Thus is why one woman on re ptuin in the evening stood out for being rude she was out if place completely. Gave an entitled aura such a shame and a huge contrast to the rest of the staff. The life guards are exceptional.

Really loved the pool area. Thought the daily activities for kids were brilliant. We will be back

Need to sort out the pool beds with people leaving towels down the night before and not coming down until the middle of the day the next day.

The room was clean, there was everything needed in the kitchen area. Room was pretty the same as in photos. Good noise isolation, comfortable temperature in the room.

Water in the shower were pulsing all the time ( changing from cold to hot every ~5seconds, independantly from lever position). It wasnt very comfortable to sleep in 2 separated beds connected together with our child( sometimes she just fall between the beds). Also there were some ants when we arrived (first few days) in kitchen and shower area.

Nice family hotel. Very clean. Nice pools and small beach within short walk. Nightly entertainment. Restaurants and stores within 2 min walk.

Not enough sun chairs around pools. We could never find any available chair to seat by the pool. People at the reception could be more informative about breakfast/diners available at the property and hours and pricing; about Landry room or service; about nightly entertainment, hours and maybe performers; that there was a small train that tours the town; that we had to pay for slides in the splash pad etc. At the check in we were just given the keys to the room and told to ask if we had any questions. We had to figure out everything on our own.

The location was perfect, good location for the restaurants and shops. Also only 6-7€ to the marina which we went to frequently for restaurants or you can go by the train. The beach is very pretty but very busy in high season. The rooms, facilities, pools, gardens are maintained to a very high level. We thoroughly enjoyed the adult only pool and close proximity to the beach. And we have to mention Conchy who cleaned our room every day with a hola and massive smile. It’s a great place for small kids and had quite a few acts / entrainment in the evening.

Our room overlooked the pool with the kids - ear defenders were required until 1900. Beds at the pools are premium in high season. Be prepared to queue at 9am. Probably too many kids for us with older kids, but we were saved by the adult pool.

The location, facilities & the food! The pool area was recently upgraded & it looks really high class for a 4 star. There have been some negative reviews regarding sun bed availability but as a couple we had no issues finding a space & often came down late in the day after lunch and always got a space. There is also a lot of space at the beach.

The only thing is the apartments could have some cleaning items such as clothes, washing up liquid etc. as we had to buy these and leave them behind.

I was choosing between several hotels in Cala D'or and I am very happy that I chose Inturotel Esmeralda Park! Here you will feel relaxed in a friendly atmosphere. The apartments are incredibly clean, cleaned every day, there is everything you need for cooking (dishes, frying pan, pots, etc.). Be aware that you need to have your own spices. A large balcony with a wonderful view. The hotel staff is very attentive and nice, the entire hotel area is very neat and tidy. Lots of greenery on the hotel grounds, pine trees. We were amazed that the staff even wiped the dust off the trash cans and street lamps! There was enough space for everyone on the beach. The beach is also cleaned. Sea is amazing here! The bus stop to the airport is 1 minute away. There are many cafes and supermarkets nearby. I highly recommend walking a little further and shopping at the EROSKI Cala D'or supermarket, about 17 minutes walk, but you can buy there groceries there much cheaper and there is a great variety of products and fish. I dream of coming back here again!

Everything was perfect!

The hotel is beautiful , the room is big and comfortable (even the sofa bed was comfortable ), the Esmeralda beach is heaven. We used only the adult pool, that has a beautiful view from the beach We loved the convenience of having the pool as our base and being able to alternate between enjoying the beach and the pool. We also had lunch every day at the pool bar, which serves really tasty food. Another great advantage is how close it is to the charming town center, full of restaurants – we had dinner there every night. The breakfast is also really good.

“We had an incident when we arrived – our room hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was something sticky on the floor in the bedroom, bathroom, and living room. We spoke to the front desk, and they promptly sent someone to clean it up, and we never had any further issues after that.” “The sun loungers situation is definitely a thing. We had to go early to reserve spots, and someone from the family always had to stay there so we wouldn’t lose our place (until 10 am, not along the day )The hotel does patrol the area early in the morning to prevent guests from reserving chairs too far in advance.”
