Quiet and away from the city vibes.

The beach front should be renovated especially with all the sharp stones and the cements laying around. It could also use additional sand from nearby beachez because its so muddy. You should follow Pak Pak Lauin’s beach front. Simple and functional.

The hotel or maybe resort have very pleasent and helpfull staff. Everybody wants to help you. there are 2 swimmingpoools or maybe we find only 2:) third one was closed. rooms are very clean, and big with nice bathrooms;)

Resort is in the middle of nowhere, you need to take their transport to see something, or have your own car. Ofcourse you can always stay in resort and stay whole holiday in fron of swimming pools :) Ugly beach front and no shade on it:(. in play there is only 1 free hour to play in wideo games, I understand that if there is many people, but we were alone there.

all staff we encountered was very friendly. my kids loved our stay here.

1hr away from the airport but they have a private van for 3500each way just for your party. they do have a shareable van for 500pesos each but to save you time and hassel with other parties just book a private van.

Almost everything about this place is a 10/10. Hospitality. Service. Staff. Cleanliness. Food. Drinks.

Mainly the beach isn't getting enough attention whatsoever. The other facilities make up for it but the beach could be a lot better. It's mostly deserted and uncared for. Other thing is everything kinda closes at 11 pm or 11:30 So if you're planning for a longer night ... you better order stuff early and take em with u. And also .... worst part is the location of the resort, it's an hour and a half away from literally everything. Buy everything you need before u go there. There is one flash mart near the resort but it doesn't have everything u may need. There are shuttle that may take u to the airport or the sales office (near the airport) but that's about it. And they have a time schedule ofc. And they are not free.

Food was good at the Reserve Restaurant. That was the only restaurant that was open during our stay (low season, october) Rooms were spacious and super clean. Good for families! Staff were genuinely nice and helpful. Always greeting 😊 1 visit to the waterpark was also amazing! Nice extra was the dry laundry self service at the Nest. Everything was really good. There was nice smell everywhere! 😊 Good quality for the money!!! This was our best stay in Palawan! 🤩 (We stayed in 3 other resorts)

No real bed blankets in the beds only throws and for my husband the bed was too hard. For me it was perfect! During low season all the activities weren’t open as they do some renovations in the resort.

Rooms are big with all the ammenities needed. Bed is also very comfty and everything clean and new. Terrasse in front of the room is nice for snack, apero or just to relax. Breakfast in the morning has plenty of options and food is very nice. Also the free option for one entry at the water park is nice. There are kayaks, SUP or bikes at disposal for free and three different pools.

Check-in process is very long and complicated. They recently opened a new building and moved the check-in there, with the old checkin only for check-outs. As in many hotels in the Philippines staff is super friendly but rather incompetent and super process-oriented. Restaurant takes forever, so order at least 45min in advance to be sure to get it on time. Despite zero waves and only knee-deep water the "lifeguards" don't leave you in the water. Everyone uses a different excuse "jellyfish", "sharp rocks" or dangerous shells. It seems that they just don't want anyone in the sea not to bother watching people there. Also the pool was not cleaned. There was a slimy cover on all stones and areas in the pool. I guess the pump was not working.

the place is stunning, if your'e after a place where you don't have to leave the resort this is definitely your best bet. Breakfast is superb and the rooms are nicely decorated.

Staff did not have our booking when we arrived but nobody would tell us that, so they made us wait for 4 hours telling us they are 'still cleaning the room'. Turned out there was no room and they were forced to upgrade us to the suite. The beach is also unusable, a very small area of the water has been cornered off from the jellyfish, but even that area is overrun my scores of crabs covering the entire beach.

We loved our stay at Astoria! The staff are so friendly and were very accommodating of our 11 month old daughter. Aljohn took amazing care of us poolside and Susan was the sweetest waitress. Our daughter loved her! This is a great place for families. The pools and beach are great! Food was fantastic. Our room was quite clean. I was worried about bugs, but they do provide bug spray and I think they spray nightly which really reduces the mosquitos. We didn’t get a single bite (which we can’t say of other stays on Palawan). The filtered water they provide is safe to drink (not the case elsewhere). AC works great. They also offer tours directly from the property. The resort is about an hour outside of Puerto Princesa, but they offer a private van for $60 USD to and from the airport or a share van at limited times.

There isn’t really any food options other than the resort food, which is fantastic, but lunch, dinner and a few drinks a day for two people for the week ended up costing as much as our room. We really enjoyed the food and drinks, it’s not really a negative, more so just be prepared to spend that. Dinner buffet for two ~$53 USD, lunch for two ~$30, drinks range $5-$9. Kids eat for free though! I wish we ended with Astoria on Palawan instead of started with this resort, because everywhere else we stayed in Palawan didn’t compare! This place is the best!

The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Facilities were clean and catered for our needs. The location is a little remote from a lot of the Palawan activities but it had an excellent seafront location and great evening entertainment. The buffet food was amazing and varied. Singapore Airlines had managed to lose my bag on the connecting flight from Singapore to manilla but the staff were able to help recover it and get it delivered to me at the hotel - albeit after nearly 5 days of delays on the part of the airline who weren't responding to calls or messages.

Hotel complex is massive. The landscaped gardens are very attractive. The waterpark is free for 1 day. Buffet breakfast and dinner choice was immense. Best food in Palawan. Live music and fire show on the beach at 7:15pm. Free 1h30 onsite boat/snorkel trip to sandbar. Free all day van ride to Pak-Pak Luan beach. 1h15 to PP Underground River. 1h50 to Port Barton. 1h30 to PP. 1h to Honda Bay. Ample free car parking. No jellyfish and water clear (unlike Port Barton).

Beach is too shallow to swim hence free ride to Pak-Pak Luan. Beds were firm. Housekeeping needed to be asked twice for service on 2 occasions.
