Room was very big, aircon was excellent on a very hot day and was right by the pool and the very colourful parrots, Room was neat and the wet room was great , kettle was good as was the TV with range of british channels, Bar area is very good with loads of seats , food and entertainment. All in all a good place to stay and its run by Brits so very much a good experience. Oh and they have a well stocked shop and bakery which makes this a whole better place to stay.

Only minor niggle I had to go and find the receptionist as she was also serving in the shop,Not a massive deal but we were a bit frazzled and needed a rest but the young lady got us sorted and was very good 👍 So that's all folks.

I have given this place a full 5 stars because I used to lived in area about 7yrs ago and I know what a bad state of repair this hotel needed and was only ran as a bar area back then. Considering the family have owned the place for only a couple of years, trust me they have made massive improvements. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was fine for our needs. Beds comfy, air con, tv worked great. Plenty of hot water and towels provided as and when. You also got free coffee in room and water. We found the parrots very entertaining and personally an unusual asset to the place. Great entertainment, which is free to residents! Pool area was lovely and chilled and pretty much had it to ourselves! Well done to the family

The food was hit and miss and sometimes things either got forgotten or mixed up. Breakfast was great and plenty of variety and served until 1pm. Light snacks served until about 6 I think, which again fairly good variety. Think to us the problem lay with the evening meals. Not much choice and this was hit and miss. I would have preferred to be able to have what was offered as light snacks in evening as well like the jacket spuds and salad. A bit of fish on offer plus a pasta dish think would be good. Saying all this, what small issues lacked the place made up with all other positives.

We were able to stay on the premises after watching an excellent performance on the evening. The room was clean and comfortable and food good quality with very good service from all staff. To be able to check in at 1pm and use the lovely swimming pool beforehand was great. Granddaughter loved the parrots too. Deli and shop a nice touch.

Generally everything was very good. Just a few finishing touches required perhaps full length mirror or another mirror in bedroom as there were 4 of us. A few hooks on doors etc here and there.

The entertainment and food/drink. Some confusion on our dates, we booked 23/24 August with Booking.com but they had us booked for 24/25 August. They quickly sorted out our rooms by giving us an upgrade to the last two suites.

The rooms were a bit sparse, could do with some pictures etc. The owners have done a great deal in the last 3 years.

The staff were brilliant. Carly and Kate were very friendly, well-informed, and very hard working. Refreshing after arriving at hotels to find staff filing their nails. Carly never stops working! The room was brilliant. The room was clean, and the shower was working well! The only reason we didn't score the hotel a 10 is because we found a piece of glass on the floor, but we know how broken glass behaves.

The parrot was squawking loudly early morning.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is perfect for for a cool down. The food in the restaurant is lovely. The staff are lovely, my son made lots of friends and enjoyed playing for hours in the pool.

Nothing, one thing I would suggest is a mini fridges for the rooms or a vending machine for night times

Fantastic! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean.great gym,and lounging by the pool was so relaxing! The entertainment was superb,and the food was really good.we loved it and booked up for our next trip right away.the staff are really lovely

wasn't there fault as they so much still on going but shame the pool wasn't heated as it was to cold to swim in but sure there will get round to it all so day trips be good idea as it very remote but stay was excellent

Room, location, food, bar, entertainment, staff, surroundings excellent. Never known such friendly & helpful staff, love the parrots too.

Although we liked the accommodation, rooms due for a refurb and would have liked a mini fridge to keep milk for a morning cuppa, also medication (insulin) but good value for money paid.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Prices of accommodation as well as food and drink were great. On the night I stayed, there was live music, which was excellent. (King and Swing) Met both the performers, who were so nice and willing to have a chat. The food - Curry, Rice, Peppers, and Naan bread - was delicious. And the Sunset from the outdoor seating was spectacular.
