We loved everything, the owner welcomed us and helped us so much we are so grateful!!!!! We slept like children all night long! It's quiet and the bed is comfy. Will go back if we come to Thailand again.

Nancy, with her son Matthew, were excellent hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nancy has a good sense of humour and is very professional, always wanting to make sure you have everything you need. Chairs on the beach were a plus, and we were also allowed to use the kayak free of charge. We happened to be there on music night, which was fun to singalong and mix with various nationalities. Thankyou so much Nancy and Matthew for a wonderful stay in the lovely calm area of Pak meng beach (often noone else on the beach !)

The hotel and facilities were kept clean, but, probably due to only local tourism, and not huge local budget, there was quite a bit of rubbish on the beach

This hotel is very basic but it is not expensive so I felt it was good value for money. It was quiet and at night I could hear the waves from my room. It was in a central spot along the beach with many restaurants close by. The area is beautiful and I enjoyed exploring the nearby national parks.

My door didn't shut properly so I always had mosquitoes in my room and the aircon wasn't great. Also, my room backed on to a kitchen from the place next door so it was noisy in the mornings and sometimes at night. As I said though, the room wasn't expensive so it did provide good value for money.

Enjoyed the location right opposite the beach and close to restaurants , coffee shops and convenience stores. Very helpful staff that speak good English and a good breakfast is on offer for 200bht. They also very kindly did our washing for a small charge. We enjoyed two days out, one to the botanical gardens near Trang and the other to the National park just 9klm away. Both well worth doing. We ate fabulous seafood in 2 different beach side restaurants . The food in both was cheap, approx £7. Per head with beers and excellent quality .

The mattress was too hard for both my husband and myself which made for disruptive and uncomfortable sleep. I think we will travel with inflatable camping matresees next time as this seams to be a common occurrence in Thailand .

Nancy is a great host and she makes the stay so much better. The views of the beach and cliffs in the distance are fantastic on the beach here. We had a great two day stay.

Pak Meng Beach Resort I booked this accommodation going off reviews that it was a great place & the host “Nancy” was very helpful. We arrived from Trang by car (35-45min drive depending on traffic) & our driver arrived out the front of the resort. We were a little early but it was no hassle & one of the staff greeted us. She went & got our Host Nancy. Check in was pretty easy & we were offered the choice of three rooms. We took the front one & Nancy said it could be a bit noisy from the road. We explained we live next to a major highway so all good. Room was spacious, A/C operational & COLD, bathroom had Hot water heater (common for SE Asian bathrooms) in the bathroom, western style toilet. WiFi available & fast. a big fridge as well. Bed was huge!! There was 3-4 power points to charge devices. There is a area outside as you walk to your room that has coffee facilities & hot water urn if you are on a budget & have instant noodles. We asked Nancy if there was laundry facilities & her staff did it for us. Most appreciative!! Breakfast is a set piece of bacon, eggs, little sausages, tomato & toast with jam & butter. Coffee & juice supplied also if you want it. This was 200THB=AUD$8.47 so reasonably good value & it was tasty. The absolute bonus of staying here is the location. It is less than 20 steps to the beach front & the view is spectacular. The beach is so quiet & peaceful. The three days we were there, several times I had the beach to myself. Usual services available in town. Small “corner store” with everything you need there, multiple restaurants that you can sit on the beach & eat your food ordered from them. I really loved staying here & Pak Meng Beach Resort made that stay even more memorable.

Good location, excellent facilities, and very friendly, helpful staff.

Ms. Nancy keeps the place very clean and neat. Proper bedding, best we had on our Thailand trip. Loved the beach, plenty of places to eat and watch the sunset. Nearby there was even a fire show with psytrance music (but I don't think you would be able to hear from the hotel), we loved it :)

Excellent location just across the road from the beach and surrounded by seafood restaurants. We loved our 3 nights here and will be coming back again. This part of the Andaman coast is beautiful and quiet. We visited the nearby national park and didn't see any other tourists. Nancy is friendly and helpful - she even gave me some painkillers when I pulled a muscle. Very laid-back. Car parking is available at the hotel or just opposite if they are full

We liked everything!

Nancy was extremely helpful. She booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel and booked tours. Any inquiry or question she was there to help us. They also make breakfast but make sure to ask about their availability first. The place is good, with all that you need in bed. They give water and clean the room every day but make sure to leave the keys. The place is in front of the beach, they have some chairs where you can sit and chill. There are heaps of restaurants around but mind you mostly sell seafood/thai food. Not too many options for international food. The ones that we went they have menu in english.

Maybe there could be a socket close to the bedside table to charge the phone, but this was not an issue.
