Location is great, just across the road from the Place du Ralliement with its reasonably priced underground parking making it very convenient. Good breakfast, I was able to find sliced course grain bread (a favourite), and we could boil our own egg(s).

The bathroom is not the best, there is a bathtub with shower but it is an older generation with a rounded bottom making it a real hazard. They can be slippery when covered with soapy water, and are difficult to stand in. Also, the toilet seat/lid are missing soft close hinges, which I consider a real must these days. These are not expensive to install, and shows, unfortunately, the hotel's inattention to detail. But, overall, these are minor complaints, I would still recommend this hotel.

Amenities were adequate for my needs, ensuring a hassle-free experience. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional service from the desk staff, especially one kind young lady. She went above and beyond to make my stay memorable: she allowed me to remain I. The lobby and allowed me to charge my phone. SheRepeatedly checked in with water, and atiently answered all my questions with a warm smile. Will definitely return

Wifi.. Slow and really slow..

The location was amazing. Right in the heart of the town, but at the same time, the surrounding streets were not noisy. And it felt really safe too. The room was very clean. The bed and the bathroom were super big for an economy room and it even had a water kettle and a luggage rack. I also really enjoyed the design elements in the room and generally, I felt it was good value for money.

If you’re a light sleeper, this room is not for you. You could very clearly hear everything that's happening in the lobby. I did book this room knowing that it’s on the ground floor, but it didn’t expect the walls to be that thin. The breakfast got a little repetitive after a while. There were no hot food options except for the possibility to boil eggs, but all in all, I didn’t have any problems getting my stomach full. The room smelled strange. I think it was coming from the heater.

The location was great- right in the middle of town, but without it being loud. The hotel was very quirky- I loved the fact that it still had some of its original charm. Very friendly staff (took great care of my bike!). Great facilities- coming by bike, I needed somewhere secure for it. Breakfast perfect. Would definitely stay again.

The room could be bigger, but I am being picky. It did the trick. For one person, really nothing to moan about.

The room was not huge, but a good size, and the bed was comfy. The hotel is in a side street and our room was at the back so it was very quiet. The location was great (very central). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. There was good, secure, indoor storage for our bicyles.

Such a convenient location. Hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly.

There is a disco nearby which is noisy. Apparently this occurs at the weekend and on bank holidays. No car park but public, underground car park is two minutes walk away.

The room was small, but comfortable, most importantly, the bed. The bathroom was fine, though an elderly friend found the tub/shower dangerously lacking in places to grip onto getting in or out. This is a problem. On the brighter side, I thought the picture window was splendid. The hotel is a quarter of a mile away from the center of town. It’s a nice walk, which gets shorter each time you do it, and your room itself is quiet through the night and even in the morning.

Great central location close to lots of restaurants and bars, friendly receptionists and clean room.

Some of the infrastructure was a bit outdated and the walls were on the thin side, but as it wasn't so busy it didn't really bother me.
