We had a truly wonderful stay at Le Dimore del Borgo in Lucca! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. A special mention goes to Lady Valentina at the reception, whose kindness and professionalism made a real difference. She surprised us with a free upgrade to a spacious three-room apartment, which was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment was beautifully maintained, with all the amenities we needed and a charming atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Lucca. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly return

Very clean, spacious, bright and modern. Despite being outside the walls with no 24x7 reception, it felt safe and secure. It was only about a 10 minute walk (1 min via a subway) before you entered the walls. Rachele was really helpful and gave us lots of advice.

The air con was not working as it apparently only comes on in summer. I was not aware of this. As a woman of a certain age, I have night sweats so I had to open all the windows and it was so noisy outside I could not sleep. Also the bed had a waterproof mattress protector which moved around even at the slightest turn. There was no minibar and the supermarket was about a 15 minute walk away.

The room was large and comfortable, with a warm and cosy interior. Very good list through 4 large windows. Nice size bathroom with comfy shower. A lot of closet space and a well equipped kitchen. The whole facility was well kept, elegant with friendly and welcoming staff. Private and secure parking with sufficient space. The walls of Lucca are a 5' walk and around the corner loads of shops, with an Esselunga at walking distance. I forgot a coat and the staff went out of their way to make sure I could pick it up on my own after check-out.

Nothing, it was perfect!

It was good having a mini apartment (Modern Apartment -that was its name) It had a very good bathroom and bedroom. A good breakfast was delivered each day. Location outside the walls, ten minutes walk from the centre was OK, with shops and a very good restaurant nearby. We arrived late on our first day but arrangements for access worked perfectly.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. Only one wine glass for example. It was sometimes inconvenient that there was no one on reception (It is only staffed part-time)

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in a really good location. Customer service was fantastic and staff were always on hand to help with any questions or requests. We all enjoyed staying at Le Dimore del Borgo and would love to return there in the future. A big thank you to Sara and the team for all their help during our stay!

Amazing location, great lady on the desk, perfect communication, private parking place on property. Coffee shop, restaurat and other facilities in close distance. Great place close to centre of Lucca town.

We were very satisfied with the aparmant. Large rooms, each room with its own bathroom and private parking. It took us 8 minutes to get to the center (with children). The apartment is very clean and well-maintained, so we are happy to recommend it.

Modern studio, not very large but very clean, main bed was comfortable, location was excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to enter city walls, parking behind building was free.

The foldout bed was a bit hard, perhaps a mattress topper can be used.

Very nice location 10 minutes from the city center and the owner answered and communicated very fast. And the apartment is exceptional.

Maybe the checkout time is a bit early in my opinion.
