We had an unforgettable stay. The room was cozy with a stunning view of the mountain skyline. Waking up to a panoramic mountain view through the ceiling windows was breathtaking. Breakfast was hearty and freshly prepared, and immaculate cleanliness throughout the property made the stay even more relaxing.

We chose this hotel specifically to enjoy the swimming pool and unwind during our stay. While the facilities looked excellent, we were disappointed to find that the pool water was too cold to comfortably use. It would have truly elevated the experience if the pool was temperature-regulated. We hope this can be improved for future guests, as the rest of the property was lovely.

I travelled by motorbike with my wife and stayed the night in the hotel. There was free parking just in front of it. We took the option that included dinner and breakfast. I think it was worth it as we had some delicious pasta the night we got there, and the breakfast the next morning was enough. The room seems to have been recently renovated, and it had enough space. I saw there was a bus stop just in front, so good for travellers without their own transport. As it was out of season, I think the value for money was great.

I was very pleased with my stay, particularly the room itself, which was clean and comfortable, I have appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I loved the fact that I could have breakfast and lunch at the hotel. It made my stay much more relaxed.

I prefer very hot rooms and for me, the room was a bit too cold so I had to ask for extra duvets. But the staff promptly helped me with my request.

bed & room so comfortable! we checked in late after a full day of driving with 1 day of driving ahead of us. check-in went smooth and a baby bed was taken care of on request. what really made the difference, was the sweetest & kind lady in the restaurant the next morning (working on the 2nd of September). She knew what it’s like with children because she has 1 child herself and she took care of us in an amazing way. the chairs for children where already set-up at the table and she was so kind to them and getting us everything we needed. whilst doing this, she was also taking care of other guests & doing check-outs as well. when we left, she filled up my bottle with boiling water to prepare the formula while driving. someone give this woman a raise, because she really made the difference for us and is hands down one of the best hosts and people ever! thank you!😘

Room: very nice and clean with a very large bathroom. The room had a large and comfortable double bed plus a sofa bed which transformed in an over-posed bed for the kids. Room and furnitures seemd to be freshly renewed. Very quite hotel. Swimming pool: small but kids simply loved it! And even adults took a refreshing bath after the very hot day. We were just laying on the long-chairs and had a fantastic apero delivered by the restaurant directly at the pool. Dinner: we had the half-board included, so we had dinner on site. We the adults took the choices from the half-board menu while kids were picky and asked for alternatives. Staff was friendly enough to simply bring them their extra choices at no charge! Thanks a lot. It is not a gastronomic restaurant but food was delicious and copious. We had more than enough. Breakfast: it was included in our stay. It was self-service based and it was amazing. If you are the salty-breakfast type you might find it a little bit low in choice but we were fully satisfied! We could even make our fresh orange juices. Coffee from the automatic machine was not great but the staff was preparing our cappuccino from the bar without any problem: delicious. Public transport: We reached the hotel by train and foot by arriving at Mendrisio San Martino. The hotel is only a couple of hundred meters away from the station and FoxTown. If you have large luggages to carry along it might be worth to reach the main station of Mendrisio and to take bus 351 to reach the hotel. Stop is just at the hotel! Staff: super friendly! Really thank you all! Kids even broke one of the swimming balloons and they didn't charge anything

Pillows: just too thin and small for our taste Coffee machine: not the best ever used but the coffee from the bar was very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and equipped kitchen (may be it was only mine had kitchen). Breakfast was satisfying.

There was no elevator, and my room had a private bathroom outside the room, but probably, I've missed this information while booking.

Excellent stop over, excellent double room with bunk beds, lovely splash pool to unwind. Super breakfast with a variety choice. Excellent shower looks like it is newly renovated, lovely shower wash! Lovely staff serving breakfast

Checkin was very smooth, fast reply on our request. Very friendly staff at reception. Breakfast was very nice, everything clean and friendly.

There was nothing we didn't like, all was very nice. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very nice. All facilities were great. We will definitely come back again.

Clean room in a somewhat older hotel. Quiet place to stay for a good price. Breakfast was more than enough and of good quality.

Poor cleanliness of the starecase and the fact that the door to the outside swimming pool remained open at all times. The hotel restaurant has no info on internet from former guests and there were almost no visitors on a Saturday evening, which made us go to one of the 3 restaurants in the road above the hotel.
