Very small hotel just over Balerna station, very close to italian border. The rooms are small but very nice and comfortable, with very useful complimentary bottles of water. Very quiet in the night, very good quality of sleep. Every room have a private bathroom except one….my one. But the bathroom is very close on the corridor, for exclusive use, very clear but small and a little claustrophobic. Breakfast nothing special but staff very very friendly. Overall, a place where come back.

What a wonderful place to stay overnight while traveling. The rooms are lovely, and it's wonderful to have a restaurant on site. The staff is literally ready to give you a fantastic experience. We ate mussels, among other things, and they were deliciously prepared. The various pasta dishes are also highly recommended. Leaving early wasn't a problem either: "We'll prepare a breakfast for you to take with you." To all the staff: "Thank you for your excellent care and service!"

The breakfast was great, a wide selection of foods, including some healthy options. The hotel is right next to the train station. The room itself was super clean and neatly decorated. It had all amenities we needed. The staff was very friendly. We came here for a Bike 'n' Wine tour, and the hotel is perfectly located for that (very close to the start and end spot).

The pillow was a bit uncomfortable (it indents too much). The hotel is in a bit more industrial part, so there is not really a small-town vibe there. The following is obviously not the hotels fault, but the nights were very noisy, as the train station is currently (as of 09.10.23) under construction throughout the nights, which causes quite a bit of noise and there are many scooters going around in the nights with loud motors. This also seems to be a mosquito heavy area, so bring some protection.

We stayed here as a family for a wedding and had a wonderful experience! The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect — quiet, yet close to everything we needed. The staff were kind and welcoming, and we truly felt comfortable during our stay. We would definitely come back again!

I really had a good time in this place. The location is perfect, right in front of the train station. You can take a 5min train to Mendrisio easily from there. The staff are very friendly. I really liked how helpful the lady I see in the morning during breakfast time. Totally recommend this place.

We loved our stay there ! Comfy, relaxed and calm place. The train station is just 3 minutes' walk, it is a perfect location if you wants to visit Como. The hosts are very friendly, and everything is just excellent. Especially thanks for the lady who serving our breakfast during our first 2 days, she is very polite and helpful !

Lovely rooms, very vibrant restaurants during dinner time. We really would have liked to have dinner there, but we were too tired... Excellent breakfast and nice garden. Parking outside. Close to the train station.

There is not elevator: if you plan to stay just for one night on a stopover traveling somewhere, better have a small bag for the night and leave large luggage in the car.

It's a nice and cozy place, well located just across the train station in Balerna. Staff is friendly and helpful, they gave me some good tips about the region and public transportation to place where I was going.

There wasn't a suitable place to store luggage, since the hotel was closed for a large part of the next day.

A lovely hotel and restaurant, for my son and I to stay at whilst heading back to the UK from southern Italy. The staff were great and the room was spacious and comfortable too. The restaurant was an added bonus, as this was very good.

It was a bit of a struggle to find somewhere to park but otherwise all good.

Steps from the station, clean and spacious rooms, old-fashioned in a good way and great value for money. Very friendly staff at breakfast and locals came for their morning coffee, giving the place a nice vibe. The restaurant looked great.
