Roula - the receptionist was AMAZING. The rooms were quiet. Location fantastic. Clean and the air-conditioning worked well and quiet.

It would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room daily. This is not a 5 star. 5 star hotels don't have dirty floors, and they don't run out of cheese, knives, forks, spoons, and cups daily. People reserving sunbeds and then not being there for hours ? What about a sign saying - if your bed is unoccupied for 40 minutes, your belongings will be at reception !!. The staff - not enough. They are overworked at breakfast time. Breakfast was.......... poor. Boring. Uninspiring, but plentiful. Would I go again... Sure. All in all it's great. Roula - the reception girl was so helpful....

I was initially inclined to give this hotel 9/10, but I just hate to see how some spoiled people can drag down the reputation of this nice hotel... Because we ourselves after reading some reviews were hesitant... First of all, the breakfast is delicious and so many to choose from. We stayed for 14 nights and never got bored of the food choice. The coffee is good. The juices, well... had better... But the food, especially some typical Greek dishes (salads, Greek full fat yoghurt, grilled vegetables, grilled aubergine with cheese) was so delicious I miss it so much. Wide variety of eggs based dishes, too. The staff was very friendly, and we GOT help with our luggage. We got the two-story room with private jacuzzi and overall we liked the room very much. It was modern, clean, bigger refrigerator than usual hotel ones, one terrace with the jacuzzi and two sunbeds towards the back, one balcony with seating and table towards the pool. The jacuzzi isn't heated, which might have been a shock at first, but after some time in the heat it was actually very refreshing. The location is superb, almost on the beach. And while some guests moan about the lack of free sunbeds at the pool... 1) some rooms have own sunbeds 2) but mostly, you can free of charge spend the whole day on comfy sunbeds of the sister hotel right on the gorgeous beach. I would recommend water shoes when going into the sea because of the slippery bottom which is basically one huge rock. But boy, the black "sand" is probably the most comfortable and nice sand I ever experienced. It is made of these very little stones, so little and round it is practically a sand so very comfy to walk on bare foot, but not so tiny that it manages to massage your feet while walking on it. And one big benefit is that it's by far not as sticky and "get everywhere" as the "usual sand"... So why would you even choose to spend your whole holiday at the pool??!

Gym is neglected... but wouldn't call it a deal beaker..

Firstly I cannot compliment the staff enough they are friendly, helpful and overall provide unmatched service that we haven’t experienced anywhere else prior to the trip. Staff are able to guide you around the island, book reservations, transport, tours etc which is extremely helpful for first time visitors. The breakfast was excellent every morning with various options available alongside of juice and coffee. The room itself was fantastic very spacious and clean, the bed was also very comfortable. In terms of location it’s very handy and easy to navigate, there is a bus stop located at the bottom of the street taking you to Fira from there you’re able to go to various other locations. There is also the option of hiring a quad/car/buggy nearby We absolutely loved our stay Antoperla and we already miss it and the staff dearly, we will definitely be back soon

Room lovely, great location. Cleanliness exceptional and staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. Staff on front desk could not do enough..Roula and Dimitri very prompt to sort any issues and always with a smile. Also spa manageress lovely and excellent at her job. Great choice for breakfast.

Cushions on sofa bed was noted to be stained. Originally put into ground floor room but we had requested a first floor room. This was sorted promptly the next morning as we had a late arrival time the previous evening.

The buffet breakfast was A tier. The breakfast buffet presented a nice assortment of drinks, ranging from coffee all the way to juices and milk. With fruits and tasty pastries, plus a large variety of traditional Greek breakfast food, this hotel is a clear choice for middle aged travelers.

The irrigation system is currently not strong enough to support toilet paper. Luckily, they do clean the hotel daily, ensuring a clean environment is maintained. The complimentary soaps and lotion provided were very below average. With the upstairs bathroom holding them on a plate with crusty brown residue on the bottom. The downstairs shower had no walls whatsoever. All that was there to prevent splashing was the fact that the shower area was an inch or so shorter than the regular bathroom area.

First impression was fantastic & it was....beautiful hotel..loved the location...lovely decor & hotel staff very friendly & welcoming. Large room with good fridge & bed very comfortable. Housekeeping was exceptional with beautiful soft fresh towels daily. Lovely buffet breakfast with a good variety to choose from. Towels & sunbeds supplied for the beach was a lovely surprise

Would have liked a full length mirror in the room but that is minor, and better seating arrangements on the balcony

Wasn’t keen on the bathroom and freezing couple private pool. The are not heated jazuzzi’s or pools

The surprise for my partners 60th was amazing!!!! We were greeted so professionally and with great care.Nothing was any trouble from the advice on not to drink the tap water and local restaurants to try,booking taxis to ensure we were not ripped off.s We cannot fault anything about this hotel it was the best and location was perfect. The room and all areas were spotless,shower was lovely and warm with everything in the room that was needed.The maids were all very polite and always there to help. Food choice was exceptional and delicious 😋. All the staff we came into contact with were very polite and always with a smile. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Nothing as all was superb!!!!

We were offered a complimentary upgrade of our room upon arrival, which was generous with a larger private pool area and the room itself was exceptional. The hotel is extremely clean, well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A wide range of spa treatments avaliable plus a small gym, generally a very calm place to relax and unwind in the sun. The location has excellent access to local restaurants, shops, the beach and transport. Better value than staying in Fira or Oia on the island

The main pool has limited sunbeds due to it's size, so unfortunately there is the usual battle of guests placing down towels early. The daily breakfast options were sometimes a bit repetitive or an unusual choice, chocolate gateau for breakfast? The nearby hotel Rena was occasionally loud due to it's guests proximity to some of the rooms.

The room was spacious and had it own whirlpool outside. The location was very close to the beach and the facilities were nice, pool and reception etc. The staff were super helpful and the place was very clean. Breakfast had a good buffet selection with savoury and sweet options.

The euro finals were on and there wasn’t a great spot to watch although a small TV was set up at the bar by the staff.
