Communal areas were very clean and cleaned regularly. Quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff Rooms were nicely laid out and a minor thing, which made it feel relaxing, there’s different lighting for each area, kitchen, dining and bedroom. Kitchen equipped with basic needs. The grounds are leafy and it honestly felt like a retreat. Other guests were friendly. Reviews said the breakfast wasn’t much, but the selection was good imo, I’m not a big breakfast eater, juices, fresh fruit, variety of croissants, variety of jams, yoghurts and cheeses, tea, coffee, bread for toast, cereals and milk and condiments. Two washers (one was out of order when I stayed in September) and two dryers. Good transport links. Mr Chippy for some good chips, and Tesco Express close by.

Nothing really… Only thing when other guests use washer, there’s no system to contact guests re their wash cycle has ended.

Although in busy Croydon feels remote, not very noisy, very private, free parking (first come, first served). Compact gym, nice addition. Good facilities in room and in communal areas, free continental breakfast, Local shops, close to town centre and transport links. Staff very friendly, respectful and welcoming.

Didn't get a tour on check in, no information pack in room or welcome pack, no toilet roll in room on check in, TV not tuned in to any channels (only YouTube and Netflix access) Room could do with full length mirror. Blinds broken, shower head holder broken. Room requires some maintenance. Gym very hot, air con required, gym requires cleaning wipes/spray and mirror. Room requires instructions on how to operate heating, hot water, washing machine, TV etc (wasn't an issue for me but may be to others).

Fairly large room, although quite impersonal and barren. We did not use the mini kitchen. Clean room and building - no fault here. Clean but small bathroom. Nice lady at reception who remembers your name, quite impressive. Also helped out with the offsite parking in a friendly manner. In the end I could park the car up front without cost (we took the train into the city). 15-min walk to the train station with lots of trains to take you directly to e.g. Victoria. (Trains are very expensive though, but that's not on the hotel of course).

Breakfast was very basic, but I was prewarned and did not expect anything else. Cleaning during breakfast could perhaps be avoided: chemical smells and noisy vacuum - not a good match with food. The room was quite hot. There is airco in the little hallway, but god knows why as this obviously cannot go to the rooms. Quite a lot of noise as from early morning as there were works going on. And noise until late evening from other guests. Bed matttresses urgenly need replacing as we could feel the springs in our backs. Same with the pillows, very lumpy. We took the train to and from the city, the area around the hotel was perhaps a bit run down and did not always feel safe. But that could just be on us as we are from "the countryside".

It was a great place to stay. Very clean and fantastic way of having a little kitchen in the room. There is a communal washing machine and dryer. Plenty of continental breakfast. 15-20 minutes walk to the train station and 30 minutes into London Victoria. Lots of grocery shops, pubs and restaurants about. Croydon city centre is a 30 minute walk. Parking at the front but it's a first come first serve, so bear that in mind. But they can help you park at their other property, a few doors up. All in all, yes, I will definitely recommend this place.

A small problem is, the noise. Some people like to speak so loud, even on the phone, it's crazy. Just a suggestion, please, emphasise the need to be mindful of other travellers, turn the volume(noise) down even when you are in your room. Or when walking around.

The flat was welcoming and comfortable. As well as a good supply of coffee, tea and sugar there was plenty of toilet roll and washing up liquid, which is not always the case. The wifi was speedy and there was a very helpful book of guest instructions. The petrol station next door did great salads although there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Not that i didnt like it but just to watch out for. There is free parking across the road but it is used by office workers so there are very few spaces before 4pm. Not a problem for us as we were out all day so there were spaces when we got back.

The apartment met most, but not all of my needs for a long-term self-catering stay.

The curtains were not black-out and let in light quite early. There were no bedside reading lights. The apartment is right by the front door and on occasion I was woken from my sleep by the front door being slammed quite hard by other residents leaving the building. The occupants of this building should be asked to have consideration and respect for others who do not appreciate, and should not be expected to tolerate anti-social behaviour.

The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Very good breakfast for the price. Location was good. Only a 15 min walk to the train station and there are buses even closer. By the way, never rent a car if you go to London unless you want to be out of London itself. Car rentals have an expensive insurance you have to pay and you need to pay $15 per day if driving in central London and not even mentioning parking.

I actually liked everything, except we were not given towels for shower, only for the floor.

Perfectly fine stay. We were looking for a cheaper stay that was still accessible to London. This is about a 15 min walk from the Easy Croydon station - so pretty fine. The place itself is also fine, kept clean, enough space, rooms are fairly renovated, breakfast is a bonus, but also great service. Very responsive and it can be fully self arranged (code/check in etc) but they are there like 9a-9p so happy to help.

Shame the room isn’t airconned but it had a fan - not many places are airconned in the uk haha.

Clean, spacious , parking was important & managed a space outside , staff over & beyond helpful . Breakfast DIY is a great idea . Great Vibe to the hotel . The little shop is good value & well stocked.

There was building work going on , which didn’t bother us too much , it was interesting to see the new development they are doing , looks great , it was a really hot weekend , the hubby loved the air con in the hall way & wanted to sleep there as he likes the cold 🤣 but nothing we didn’t like

We had a very pleasant stay at the ApartHotel. The staff were extremely accommodating, especially Muhammad Ali, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming & hassle-free experience! With the high summer temperatures they moved our initial room to a cooler room with no issues. Will return if in the area.

First room was very hot - added it was a very hot summers day. The staff were great in moving us to a cooler room - hassle free.
