When we think about the 7 locations we stayed at on our Iceland trip, this one is the top one for breakfast for sure. Great selection and there was a staff person in the breakfast room there to make sure our croissants were warm and everything was available. The room was pretty good. A bit small, but we still had room to lay out 2 suitcases and we were excited to have our own bathroom. We couldn't hear the neighbours at all which was is always nice for sleeping. We had what was called the "garden view". I'm not sure what that really meant because there was no garden. The windows are frosted anyway so it's not like we could see and it really wasn't a big deal. The location was great along our ring road tour.

There was nothing we really didn't like, but things to know would be that Google maps took us directly to the cabin and we couldn't find the place to check-in. Thankfully, the staff answered our message on Booking super fast and we made our way to the campground office to check-in. We noticed that a few places, like this one, use pillow sham covers as their pillowcases which means a rough, textured surface for our faces which I didn't much love.

We stayed at the room with private bathroom. Room is clean and bed is comfy, I just wish the room can be a bit biggerThe breakfast is simple but good enough considering the price. Location is perfect, where you literally can see lava rocks via your window or kitchen window, next to the lake. Staff are super friendly, I forgot my adapter so asked them before and they remember and lent one to me when we checked in.

Wish the room can be a bit bigger and maybe less midges (which is pretty common in this area anyway so not for this place to be honest)

We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Location was good, overall place was quiet, although 100 meters away there was hostel, which didn't bother us. There were bunch of mosquitos or something like that next to Myvatn lake, but there were none near cottage, which is huge plus. Will stay again

We stayed at the B&B accommodation, surrounded by great landscapes. The room was rather small but it had all that we needed. Good, comfy beds and very clean. The buffet breakfast was very good and varied, served right next door to our room. Adequate value for money too in an area that is otherwise very expensive.

Everything was just fine.

Good breakfast and ideal location for exploring the area. Excellent black out shutters and good WiFi in all areas. Useful to have the breakfast area available all day for tea/coffee, reading, spreading out maps etc as room is comfortable but on the small side.

Slight lack of sound proofing between the rooms.

A quiet location not far from Myvatn. Rooms/cabins rather small for two, but very clean and well-equipped. Beds a bit narrow but comfortable. Good breakfast provided in "Breakfast Room" which could be used at other times to make drinks. Black-out shutters available for the light nights. Parking close by. Free wifi.

Check-in a bit confusing. Rooms quite small and not very well sound-proofed.

Location good for attractions but will need a car. The kitchen is good for tea coffee but there is no access to a fridge. Breakfast was fine. Loved the pancakes. Tip ... go to the Jardbodin spa and eat there. Lovely way to end day.

Small room. No fridge and no access to one. Insects bad ... but that is everywhere.

Great place to hunt for northern lights. Cosy room, although very small. Super hot radiators, which in winter saved our life :). Although the breakfast is in the village, there was a common room opposite our building where there were tables and all necessary kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal or something hot to drink. Very well equipped. We came late at night, the reception was closed, but the room key was left for us plus directions to the room. Breakfast in the village restaurant very nice. The place is right behind the post office (google maps show you a route round the whole village, don't know why).

It was pretty cold in the bathroom (nearly windy close to the floor).

A pleasant, light and clean room with a nice bathroom. Great breakfast.

We knew to expect midges but perhaps using fly screens on the windows rather than shutters so they could be opened without bugs entering might be nice

The location, quite , nice view.good breakfast The rooms are actually containers. As it was very hot outside-20 degrees Celsius , the room was very hot when entering, but we let the door and window open and it was ok

The room is small but ok for 1 night if you hqve 2 suitcases. It is a container though, so the price is very high
