It felt like we are staying in a quaint Icelandic house. Our room has seperate living area shared with only other room. Ensuite bathroom felt luxury after all other stays had shared bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped.

If you turn on microwave and electric kettle together then the fuse blows up. If such is the issue, please put up board so that we wont put it on together and we should know how to put on the electricity back. We had to search the fuse box. This information can be put up in Kitchen and would save everyones efforts

Fantastic kitchen and lounge TV areas (although it is shared with other guests). Rooms are fine, comfortable beds but otherwise nothing exceptional. Great location close to the attractions. Great coffee and tea making facilities.

Our water bottle rolled under the bed which allowed us to unfortunately discover that under the bed was very dirty and clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. The microwave wasn't working in the kitchen. The shower smelled a bit mouldy when it was wet but it was fine otherwise. Considering the price of the accommodation, I would have expected a bit better.

Room good and spacious and just needed a few more hangers provided and more hooks. Bathroom needed hooks for clothing. Kitchen very well equipped, clean and pleasant. Overall a good experience. However, shower needs cleaning after every stay - even if one night - as it was blocked with long hair and flooded. Cleaner informed and then all was well. I think clearer explanation about obtaining keys would have been helpful. We had to help a few confused visitors. I confess as an older person who likes communicating with owners, I dislike the total lack of human presence as regards the running of the place but this seems to be popular nowadays.

The lobby area which was for our room and the one next door was a nice and unexpected addition. And the kitchen area for guest use was first rate. But the absolute best was the staff helping us when, several hours after checking out, we realized we had left without one of our bags. They had found it, put it somewhere safe, and made it easy for us to retrieve it. Great service, above and beyond all expectations. Would definitely stay there again!!!!!

Beds were comfortable and enabled a good night of sleep. Guest house interior seems new and was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped for good preparation and has a lounge area for relaxing. Location is central for exploring Húsavik. Guests staying were exceptionally considerate which made for a quiet and relaxing stay. We stayed for one night but would happily have stayed longer as well set-up.

Didn’t receive the email with access instructions however we called the contact number and were given instructions which meant we could quickly access our room.

I really liked the shared kitchen area. We were able to buy some food at a grocery store and keep it in the refrigerator overnight. Only six rooms also makes it quiet.

Not that there was an issue but there is no staff on the premise. Your key is in a lock box. The whole place was very clean so it is maintained regularly.

The room is very small but it's not a problem, everything is very clean and modern. The common room is very large and has everything you would need, large kitchen, sofa, coffee table...many appliances... It's really just a 5 minutes walk from the harbor to go on whale excursions or just walk around. Free (small) parking lot.

Really nice place. Wonderful kitchen facilities; living room with large TV (all common areas). Convenient to walk to restaurants, etc. Very clean.

Americans love their 'top sheets'. European countries, not so much. Every place we stayed with the exception of in Reykjavik was simply a comforter stuffed inside a duvet. We were always too warm. Had to open windows each place.

Rooms all seemed to be a reasonable size, bathroom shower was hot and good pressure. The communal kitchen was very well catered with cutlery and cooking utensils as well as a pod coffee machine oven etc and a good size as was the eating area, Nice little lounge downstairs away from the noise of the dining room in needed. Alcohol shop next door if you need to buy any. Good parking right at the door. Beds super comfortable.

Price a little high compared to other places given no breakfast included. Only one place opened at 8am for breakfast the rest at 9 am so it was very crowded very quickly - just something to note if you are not bring your own breakfast food.

Everything about this guesthouse is excellent. It is extremely clean and comfortable with outstanding kitchen and very comfortable common areas. The bed was so comfortable.
