Lovely little apartment in a wonderful location with beautiful views from the terrace. And it's dog friendly, which is always great. We had a lovely stay, the apartment was clean, cosy and had everything that is needed for a few nights stay away, even came with milk, tea and coffee on arrival for the first cuppa. The countryside around it is glorious and we did some wonderful walks with our dog, coming back in the evening to this cosy wee place to relax. A wonderful getaway from everything to recharge batteries and relax.

Not really anything wrong with the property. Only minor gripes such as maybe providing some serving spoons/ladles and serving bowls for rice and pasta. And perhaps a free standing shelf unit in the bathroom to store toiletries on.

What a gem! Location is just outside of Dunkeld, so quiet and peaceful. Check in was thorough and the pods were gorgeous. I have stayed in a few of these kinds of places and what I loved in particular was that Kennacoil is relaxed, no long lists of rules, you really are made to feel welcome and at home. Everything you need (wood, bedding etc) can be provided if you want it and the facilities are gorgeous.

Generally absolutely nothing, I had forgotten my camping stove and it would have been great to have a wee stove in the kitchen for my coffee in the morning... There is a kettle but I am a coffee snob that travels round with a Moka pot so my fault really!!

Wonderful quiet and beautiful location w the running bridge, a farm shop and the corbenic poetry trail including a beautiful 3km walk and a perfect river swimming spot close by. I cycled which was a little tough uphill from the train station but great quiet roads. Good hot showers and toilets and pretty quiet. Also forgot to take bedding but hired a sleeping bag, pillow and towel for 5 pnds which was worth doing even midsummer. And I even had the heater and fan on at times too which worked well - nice touches.I will go again I hope

A kettle and some tea bags or coffee sachets and a wee shop at the checkin and checkout with some basics would have been great. But a nearby farm shop on the main road was good for biscuits, fresh raspberries and othe off food to keep me going .

We had a wonderful stay here! The pod was spotless and very comfortable, and the facilities were clearly well-maintained and kept clean. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of having separate bins for recycling—it shows great care for the environment. The owners were absolutely fantastic: super friendly, always helpful, and very quick to respond to any messages, which made everything smooth and stress-free. On top of that, the location is stunning, with a beautiful landmark nearby that made the stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!

In the kitchen, there was a leaflet mentioning that tap water in Scotland is generally safe to drink, but that guests should still check with the property owners. I think it would be easier and more reassuring if there was simply a clear note left saying whether the tap water here is safe to drink or not.

The location is spectacular with nature literally right at your doorstep. Getting woken up by a pheasant on the roof of your pod at 5.30 was annoying but special at the same time. I sat with the door open with a cup of tea watching him watching me until he got bored and wandered off. The pod and the showers/bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Didn't really use the kitchen except to boil water, but that was clean too. Gemma was really kind letting me use the shower after I got a bit lost on an overly ambitious mountain bike ride and got back just minutes before the 11am check-out time. Thank you! It's a pity it was only for a one night stop off....next year I will spend more time here.

Nothing really, but a small folding table/chair would have been nice to sit at inside the pod. Also, some "emergency" wifi in the kitchen area would have been very useful to let me plan the aforementioned bike properly.

The cabin was cozy, warm and well-insulated. There were two plug sockets inside the hut. And a small window for ventilation (though a blind on this could have made it darker for sleeping). There is a blind on the door. The view outside is amazing. Lovely green farmland. Peaceful, and near good walks. Gemma is very helpful and welcoming. The toilet and shower facilities which are about 100m from the hut, are all modern and have good pressure etc.

We were not well prepared as we did not read the fine print indicating the need to bring our own gear (bedding, and kitchen utensils, etc). The kitchen has a microwave but no stove top or oven. It also has a fridge but not freezer. However, Gemma was very helpful in providing some of the things we needed. It would have been helpful to have a table and chairs near the kitchen, though we did have one outside our hut.

The pods are located on a nice hill offering a great view to the nearby hills. For a couple, they are very roomy compared to a tent, very comfortable to stand up almost at any point, even with two futon beds lied down, there is still a lot of space to put your belongings. The "terrace" in front of them with the roof extending over it also offeres some protection for items left outside. They are well equipped for what they are (futon beds are comfortable; the pods have electricity - 2 outlets; one of which is used for the electric heater in colder weather; large firepit with a huge grill on top; large table with benches outside next to the firepit - could easily sit down 6 people; nice and clean towels, pillows and sleeping bags - with additional linen - offered for an extra 5 gbp / person). The car could be parked just a couple of meters away from the pod. The shared facilities (toilets and showers, kitchenette) were nice and clean. The host was easy to contact before and very polite at the time of our arrival. For us it was worth paying extra for charcoal and firewood, we found it a generous amount and we found good use for it.

For us, it was perfect, nothing to complain about.

A great alternative to camping when the weather can be unpredictable. The pods were warm with thick mattresses and were spacious enough for what we needed. Beautiful views, surrounded by nature and so lovely to have a fire each night. The shared facilities were a bonus with a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave which was everything we needed. Everything was lovely and clean and it was a pleasure to stay here. The additional highlight was the owners stunning cats which we fell in love with.

Sleeping on a mattress on the floor may not be for everyone but we found it comfortable and much preferable than a tent.

Really gorgeous views. cabins were lovely and warm at night time and free of any outdoor noise. Very friendly staff and a wood on site to make a fire in the evening which we had going for ages while we watched the sun set. Beds were very comfortable. Loved that it was less than a ten minute drive to little Dunkeld... Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to a great bar and cafes etc. We'll absolutely be back :)

N/a loved this stay.

Good basic facilities for glamping. Pod has USB ports and sockets for electrical gadgets. Wide vinyl covered bolsters provided as a good mattress to have under sleeping bags. Lovely hot showers. Utility / kitchen area large enough to prepare food with microwave, toaster and kettle, plus large communal fridge. Loved wildlife spotting from the picnic bench outside the pod --- lots of mammals and birds to be seen.
