Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was generally very good. Staff were very friendly - they were approachable and happy to deal with any requests, sort issues etc. Furnishing was basic but all you need, and all clean and new-looking. Staff had also placed a USB fan in the room - which was a really nice touch as Aberfeldy was unusually hot for my stay. Really nice little Italian restaurant two doors along.

No big issues - a few tiny niggles - if I'm being super picky. Stairs could have done with a hoover. One or two niggles with bathroom facilities - bath towels very small - sink plug didn't seem to work - showerhead had a mind of it's own (good pressure, but no control over direction or temperature!) - and no hooks for hanging a toilet bag or towels. At breakfast, the egg was small and a little overdone, and the black pudding tasteless. But I'm being really, really picky here.

It had a lot of character. The hotel consisted of two floors above the village pub which was a popular local institution. Obviously, the accommodation was built by a renovation to the hotel. They did this one very well from the fob-activated doors to the tiles shower. In addition, the breakfast was the best I’ve had on this trip and one of the best ever. They actually had a chef, cooking the dishes and took orders. I had the eggs Benedict and they were as good as any. I would’ve gotten in a restaurant. Many hotels offer breakfast, but it’s self serve and there’s a toaster and some cereal out but this was the kind of breakfast you might get in a restaurant.

Nothing — it was a great place!

The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had in the UK in hotels of this standard. I can recommend ordering the porridge with honey and cream to start. The range of breakfasts cooked fresh to order was excellent, all the way from full Scottish and vegetarian to eggs benedict, royal or Florentine. I wasn't expecting such a high standard of food! Kudos to the chef. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the wait staff during breakfast. The room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a large well-heated bathroom and good shower. Large, comfortable bed. I don't usually write reviews, but had to write this one. I'd definitely stay again,

There were a few downsides. One was the lack of hotel parking. However, there was parking across the road behind the Co-op, and some on-street and free parking in the town centre. The second was our room above the pub entrance. There was a bit of noise coming from the pub door and street, especially at closing time. BUT I have stayed in Aberfeldy town centre in other hotels and it can be a noisy street on Friday and Saturday nights, anyway. Don't let either of these things put you off. The high standard of the room and the excellent breakfast made it more than worth it!

The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a lovely young man and shown to our room. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. We wandered down to the bar and had a few drinks and started chatting to a few locals. The night continued with a lots of laughs as we exchanged a few ‘aussie’ jokes with the locals. A great sleep and a hearty ‘included’ breakfast completed our stay nicely. We would definitely stay here again. A great town and the manager and her son helped complete our stay in this mystical part of the world.

Check in was very easy. The room and bathroom were spacious and had the facilities I required; the shower being particularly powerful and generously proportioned. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order; coffee at breakfast was very smooth on the palate. Room refreshments were plentiful and varied. All staff I met were friendly and welcoming.

Room was a rather dark as it was in the eaves and had quite a small window. The entrance to the shower was a narrow squeeze for people of larger proportions which was odd as the shower was particularly spacious. Admittedly, that was more a personal fault!! The dressing table/desk was a bit small if you wished to do any work such as on a laptop. The size of the room could have easily accommodated a larger dressing table

Everything under one roof. Delicious food and drink served up by the best staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Then just upstairs to our room at the end of the day. We stayed in room 11 which was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great food, service and a comfortable bed for the night.

We liked everything. Staff and accommodation were excellent as was the price. True value for money. We will return.

location for us was good, room was lovely, clean and large ,bed comfy , bathroom was clean and modern, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing , catered for my gluten free needs , choice was excellent,we had an evening meal there too and as with the breakfast there was lots to choose from , have stayed before and would definitely stay again

Lovely big and spacious room. Large and well equip bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included and although they initially got the breakfast order wrong it was very fresh and tasty. The hotel is very central and easy to find.

I couldn't fault the hotel and the experience. It would have been nice to have had parking facilities.

Staff were so lovely. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was lovely and also very spacious. Our accomodation included breakfast which was just fine as we don’t have a big breakfast. They will also do a full cooked breakfast for £6.50 We also had dinner in the restaurant. Food was great and bar staff were again very good.

Great location. Lovely bathroom. Very clean. Food was superb. Really great staff.

Quality of the bed wasn’t what i’d expect. My daughter sat on the end of the bed & the mattress disappeared inside the divan. It’s missing slats at the end of the bed. Saying that, we slept well as less pressure at the bottom of the bed. Breakfast lovely although I waited almost 45 minutes for it & my daughter had finished her breakfast by then so we ate separately.
