Location and fortress design is amazing, cottage had everything we needed, staff explained everything well and professionally.

9 pounds per night for electric is pretty steep, especially since we were not inside much. It would be better to reflect this the price instead of having an additional thing to pay for. We weren't informed prior, to the 100 deposit and we hadn't lifted our bank cards so that was a bit of a hassle.

The Kenmore Club boasts a fantastic location, offering stunning views of Loch Tay and the surrounding mountains. The facilities are quite impressive, featuring a swimming pool, sauna, small gym, children's play area, and a peaceful seating area with picturesque views. Additionally, there are outdoor activities available, including tennis, table tennis, and mini golf. Conveniently, Kenmore Club is located just across the road from the Taymouth Courtyard Shop, which is also home to a bar and restaurant. While we didn't dine at the restaurant, we did visit the shop, which we found to be a bit pricey, as expected given the location. We stayed in a one-bedroom cottage that was clean and spacious, complete with a small private parking space outside. The cottage was well-equipped, featuring a fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine with built-in dryer, and a TV. It also included essential pots, pans, and utensils for basic cooking, sufficient for preparing a few meals and a cooked breakfast. If you enjoy cooking, it might be wise to bring your own kitchen knives, as the ones provided were somewhat blunt. Each room had heaters to keep the accommodation cozy. For entertainment, the TV comes with built-in Freeview and the option to connect and cast from a device. We successfully set up Disney for casting from a MacBook using Google Chrome. If you’re not comfortable with that, bringing an HDMI cable to connect your device directly is a good alternative. You'll find complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and pepper provided, along with dish soap and dishcloths. An iron, ironing board, and clothes horse are also available, allowing you to dry and iron on the go. Our accomodation also had a heated cupboard at the entrance where you could store raincoats and shoes. This was a nice touch.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but the accommodation could benefit from a few enhancements. There were several areas where the paint was beginning to peel from the walls, and a number of cobwebs that seemed to have been neglected for some time. Additionally, the swimming pool would greatly benefit from better lighting. Despite the stunning views of the loch through the large windows, the pool tends to feel quite dark when the sky is overcast. None of this impacted greatly on our stay but these would be things that could easily be improved by Kenmore Club.

Cold swimming pool.

Beautiful location on Loch Tay. Very clean and well appointed cottage. The kids absolutely loved the pool and also enjoyed the putting green down by the water. The price was reasonable because it was mid-season (Oct school holidays) - might be a bit pricey for us during high season, but I think the cost reflects the 24 hour reception and maintenance of the facilities.

Unfortunately the restaurant had closed for the season a couple of weeks before arrival. There were no linens for making up the pull-out sofa at the cottage but that was quickly remedied after a call to reception.

The apartment was so big than I expected. It was also very clean including bedding and bathrooms. Beds were so comfortable and the master bedroom was huge also. The kitchen surprised me as it was so clean and it had everything we needed in terms of utensils, plates, roasting dishes to a coffee maker. We didn’t need to buy anything for the kitchen apart from our food

Getting a heads up on directions, as the shorter way was so icy and we saw the sign that said “ during winter or snow days uphill will be icy so use alternative routes “, it wasn’t snowing and wasn’t that cold, so we thought maybe further ahead was where the issue was but no we had to make a u-turn and joined the other longer route. If the hotel could send a heads up or directions to guests that would be helpful

I loved the location and facilties swimming was great for our 9 year old and the restaurant was of great quality and price The staff were knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips on things to do and directions to places Nothing was a bother The accommodation was great. My only issue was the cleanliness everything was great except the floors they could.of been cleaned to a better standard but apart from that everything was great we used the oven and hob to make dinner ans breakfast and everything we needed was there including kitchen roll which and all we needed to make a cup of tea

The accommodation was excellent. It was spacious and welcoming. We had a partial view of the loch which was lovely. The heating was on for our arrival and it was nice and warm. Restaurant offered a nice variety of food. We also liked the fact we could order to take away food from the restaurant as it was fully booked one of the nights. We used a few of the facilities; swimming pool, sauna and the small gym area which were all good.. Great central location for walking, cycling and OW swimming.too. The bedrooms were a decent size and had en-suites and beds were very comfortable; not too hard, not too soft...just right! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plan to go back in nicer weather.

We liked everything. However, our only suggestion is that the front door to the property could do with being sanded down and repainted, as it looked a bit tatty and had us wondering what it was going to be like inside. Other than that, nothing else.

The staff at Kenmore Club were first class, friendly, welcoming and attentive to any requests. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom apartment (no 57) and it was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Bedrooms are downstairs and the living room and kitchen upstairs which had a great view of the loch. Car parking was conveniently just outside apartment. The onsite restaurant had a great choice and the food was delicious. We used the leisure facilities after having a cold water dip in loch Tay , so the sauna was a great facility to have. You can rent extra towels for £1.50 if needed.

There was nothing that we found unsatisfactory.

The apartments are fantastic, spacious, clean and warm which was great considering it was January we visited. The text message service to book things like the pool or to ask any questions was very handy as well. Swimming pool is excellent for relaxation or for young families. Views of the lake are superb with loads of lovely walks. the food at the restaurant is superb!!

Nothing of note that we didn't like. We got a great price (almost half price) when we visited but unfortunately the general prices would outprice us from coming back which is a shame. I would suspect the same for allot of people

We have been visiting The Kenmore Club for over 20 years. There is so much to love. It is our little piece of Heaven and our happy place. When you work hard, you need to know that a week away is going to be as perfect as possible in the best environment to chill out and relax. We always get that consistency at The Kenmore Club. Fabulous upside down Cottage, self-catering accomodation with a balcony.The staff are extremely welcoming; the maintenance and cleaning teams are always helpful and quick to respond. The Waterfront Restaurant, on site, is amazing. Food and service are always excellent. Great walks straight from the Cottages. As far as the weather is concerned , you get what you get!

My only gripe has always been the unauthorised parking in the Courtyards. It simply spoils the ambience, looking out onto parked cars. There is sufficient parking around the site.
