Beautiful and rural location within easy distance to incredible walks, towns, historic sites. A working farm with all sorts of lovely livestock roaming. Particularly the humorous peacocks and geese. They have their own beautiful farm shop - we got a cheese and charcuterie delivered while we were out on a walk. It was outstanding quality, and nearly all Scottish produced. They have a nice breakfast/ lunch restaurant…but be advised, neither the shop nor the restaurant is open Wednesday/Thursday . The place is really bigger than we expected- perfect for our framily group. Oh- and for the meat lovers… the Aberfeldy butchers provided us an exceptional haunch of venison for our roast dinner.

We love to cook, and the induction cook top was a bit outdated, but workable. A few of the pans in the cupboards were not induction compatible. And there could have been a few more serving plates/ bowls. There was plenty of table settings and glassware.

A lovely clean and comfortable cottage. Owners kept in touch to ensure I arrived safely and all was in order. Requested food purchased from the shop was delivered as expected. Indeed, as the storm prevented me from leaving the cottage, the owners went out of their way to text me about the danger of travelling and to ensure I had all I needed, including food whilst I was holed up. The darker skies in Aberfeldy around the farm meant I had good views of the planets in what was an interesting time in their alignment. I can highly recommend a stay and I will be back! There was an unexpected issue with the heating in the living room which the owner attended to immediately and lit the log fire for me as I hadn't set one before. A skill I learned as a result! Lol

The location is beautiful, with Aberfeldy on the doorstep. Everyone working here is friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome and at ease. Handy having the farm shop on site.

Even though we were in the middle of a beautiful countryside, there were no walks available to go on with a dog, as everything is fenced off, and the farm itself is leash only (which we were understanding of). You need to drive somewhere else to take your dog for a walk, which is a shame.

The location of the cottage couldn’t be better! The views are stunning and our toddlers absolutely loved the animals, which included chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, sheep, horses, pigs, and cows. The accommodation was spacious and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room made the most of the views. The children’s toys provided were great.

Just a tiny thing: there was only one tea towel! Other than that, we had everything we needed.

The location was spectacular, the cottage we stayed in had everything we needed. having the bistro just a hop and skip away was perfect, and Paul's cooking was exceptional. It was just an ideal vacation with friends.

the wifi was a bit spotty but we came to get unplugged so it was OK. But Becky was always available if to answer any queries or resolve any concerns ..so actually nothing we didn't like.

We were in a self catering cottage but had breakfast once in The Bistro and it was excellent. My husband said the bacon roll he had was the best he had ever eaten and my homemade muesli with fruit was excellent. Toast - outstanding. The cottage was heated as promised, the log burner worked beautifully and the views from the cottage were superb.

Nothing really. We were little wary of using the shower as the step up was a bit steep but we are oldies and there were no grounds for complaint.

Amazing location, spectacular views. The cottage was a good size with good facilities. Very comfortable but not too pristine that we would be worried about our dog staying. Staff were very helpful and the chef made ready meals from the deli were amazing.

Was not expecting to be greeted by the peacocks ! But they soon moved away 😂

The property was large and ideally suited to a family group, giving ready access to all of the fascinating treasures of Aberfeldy.

There were a number of minor 'end of season' maintenance issues that the owners assured would be resolved quickly, issues that previous occupants could have reported.

Really high quality accommodation in a great location. Great price for our two night stay. The quality of the furniture and the interiors is exceptional. Staff very attentive to welcome us.

Only one snag - the ensuite shower temperature control needs adjustment. Its maximum temperature is only lukewarm though there was plenty of hot water available.

Location was beautiful, area surrounding the cottage with the animals was unique and fun, the cottage itself was nice and perfect for a weekend getaway

Only thing I would’ve like is maybe a better tv, or a dvd player or firestick just to make that better but everything else was good
