The Well House was centrally located and offered on-site parking. We were greeted warmly and assisted to our room (located upstairs) with our luggage. Our room and en-suite bathroom were clean, tidy, and secure. Our host introduced us to the town and recommended walks and places to eat in the evening. The breakfast options were very sufficient, and our host went out of his way to make sure we could have 'seconds' of cereal, toast, fruit, and coffee.

There was nothing not to like. The property was a bit 'tired', but overall fair value.

Well House is situated in central Pitlochry a few minutes walk from the main street. Ample private, off street parking at the rear of the main building. Met by proprietor who was engaging, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room on first floor was quiet, bright, spacious and well appointed as was the ensuite shower room. Bed and soft furnishings of a very good quality. Continental breakfast with wide choice of breakfast items. Other bedrooms, lounge area and breakfast room on ground floor.

The location was excellent, and on-site private parking was great to have! The room was SO comfortable and cozy. I loved the skylight in the bathroom for extra lighting, and the bathroom had plenty of shelves to keep essentials. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and we even had a special treat made from the host's wife. The host was kind, welcoming and provided great information and recommendations for the surrounding area.

My partner and I loved everything about our stay here. Our host John was accommodating and helpful from the minute we stepped through the door. We were treated not like guests but like family. We felt welcomed. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. We both had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was terrific. The porridge was beautifully cooked. There was an array of different breakfast items, from cereals, breads, croissants, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, you name it, it was there. Coffee and tea a plenty. Nothing was too much for John. When we left John walked us both to the car, carrying my bag, such a gentleman, and we said our goodbyes. We would definitely stay here again as it’s so central for everything you might want to see or do. Thank you John for making us feel so settled in your abode. Both my friend and I really enjoyed our stay, the owner John was an absolute gentleman, nothing was any trouble to him, the room was very comfortable, clean and had everything you needed, located centrally and lovely views, the breakfast was continental exceptional and tasty, overall excellent stay look forward to returning.

The only issue was the stairs, my friend struggled a bit but for future stays we can request the ground floor room, other than that no complaints.

John the host was so personable and friendly with a great sense of humour, he made our trip so much fun🙂. We arrived 2 hours before check in time and he allowed us to park our car and settle in. The continental breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices👍. We will definitely return and would recommend. A five minute walk from the centre of Pitlochry, perfect location.

We couldn't fault it, we had the best stay and cant wait to return, mostly due to John who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and fun👍

This is an excellent b&b. Very comfortable homely rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, TV, wifi - and all very clean. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Right in the heart of Pitlochry so easy access to town on foot - and wider transport links to other places. Hosts were exceptional - very welcoming and John is a very entertaining conversationalist.

Handy for local shops and restaurants. Breakfast was lovely, very fresh, great choices. Fruit juice, cereals, porridge, yogurts, fresh fruit, oatcakes. Was offered boiled eggs or croissants and pain au chocolate. There was a homemade apple torte too. Maps available to borrow, and a shoe rack for mucky boots. Photo is our room view

The continental breakfast was first class. Location was ideal but one side of the access road only had a full pavement. Caused a wee problem with partner who had mobility problems. John, the host, was most helpful to make sure our short visit was enjoyable and safe within his premises.

Cannot think of anything

The owner was absolutely lovely. He and his wife provided an exceptionally clean and welcoming room and breakfast. Plus, information was given about a lovely walk/trail and two great restaurants. For breakfast, they had very healthy items including homemade porridge, fruits and cheeses.

There was nothing to dislike.
