Christian answered the door straight away. He was polite and friendly. The room whilst on what I would say was the smaller size, was perfectly adequate for our stay. I enjoyed sitting by the open window. The shower was clean - the bathroom looked to have been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. We were provided with large, clean, good quality towels. The heating in the room could be adjusted. Whilst there were other guests staying we didn’t hear them whilst in our room. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order but we didn’t wait long for it. The Buttonboss is ideally located on the high street and has private parking.

Have stayed here several times although this was the first time we have stayed in the little flat. Great location and tasty breakfast in the morning, can’t fault it. The self contained flat had a bedroom with 3 single beds and the living room had a double bed and two large sofas. A little kitchen area was a bonus as we were able to make coffee (coffee, biscuits and milk were provided). The bathroom was clean and plenty of towels were supplied. The flat also had its own entrance directly into the car park. The B&B is a beautiful building with lots of original features.

The self contained flat is really good for 4 people however decor is a little dated. That said we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending or indeed returning in future.

The room was simple but had everything we could ever want including ensuite shower room and tea and coffee facilities. We were invited to use the guest lounge which we did. It was comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was lovely and was cooked to order and thanks to the kindness of the host we were able to get porridge even though it wasn't on the menu. By the way, they make the best porridge ever! I was really grateful for their attention to detail and their kindness in giving me something I could eat. It was very much appreciated.

Buttonboss Lodge is cute, clean and welcoming. Rooms are small but comfortable. Loved the common area with a window on the street where we would end our day with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers, or fresh baked bread from nearby "The Bakery" which has amazing baked goods and sandwiches. Christian and the other staff were wonderful. Having a custom breakfast in the cute dining room was a great way to start our day. Off street free parking was a huge plus. We could easily walk the main street from our front door. Loved "Heathergems" unique jewelery across the street. Highly recommend.

The thing that stands out in my memory about this stay is how friendly and helpful the owner Cristian was. When I was making arrangements for the trip he was very quick to reply to me and offer assistance with any query that I had. This attitude continued once I arrived at Buttonboss. Th property is located on the main road into Pitlochry, just a couple of hundred yards from the centre of the town, so is very close to all amenities, but it is still very peaceful. It has a nice outdoor garden area and there is plenty of off road parking for residents. The room was comfortable rather than luxurious but suited my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, there were tea and coffee making facilities, a small tv and adequate clothes storage. There was also a small sitting room next to my room if I needed a bit more space. Breakfast was lovely, with a good range of cereals and juices and Cristian was happy to prepare your choice of cooked items to order. These arrived quickly and were of a high standard.

To be honest, I had no complaints of any kind about my stay. Buttonboss is not luxurious, but it is clean and comfortable. The combination of a great location, lovely breakfast and fantastic host make it an excellent choice as a base to explore Pitlochry.

Overall, the property is really nice, both in the common areas and in the gardens. Parking is really close and convenient. Breakfast is fantastic in a cozy and very typical room. The owner is friendly and available.

Unfortunately, the apartment we stayed in was really old and poorly maintained compared to the other rooms in the building. Also, it was not very clean, as if it had not been used for a while. The furniture was not as nice and neat as in the photos

The host was very helpful. We checked in quite a bit later than planned and although the host wasn't able to meet us on arrival, we were able to gain access to our room easily. The Scottish breakfast was fantastic! Being from South Africa, my family was a bit apprehensive about the black pudding and haggis, but they all cleaned their plates. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The railway line runs directly behind the guesthouse so the sound of passing trains was very audible. Fortunately the train doesn't seem to run throughout the night.

We loved everything about this property. Christian, the owner, met us upon arrival and made us feel welcome immediately. My husband is still talking about the delicious full Scottish breakfast he prepared. The room was comfortable and a clean, the grounds were manicured to perfection with lovely a lawn and beautiful flowers. The location was excellent for walking to all shops and attractions in the adorable town of Pitlochry. We even got to march with the authentic Scottish Highlander band!

Ideal location for where we wanted to go . Price was reasonable too Gardens were lovely and well tended to if the weather had been nicer it would have been nice to sit out and enjoy the space . Cristian was very friendly and welcoming .Breakfast was great plenty of choice .

Bedrooms a bit tired and the showerhead was not as clean as it could have been. I had issues sleeping as the bed was very hard .

Located directly on the main street through the town. Walkable to pretty much everywhere in town. Plenty of parking(free) and Easy to get in and out. Breakfast was a full Scottish breakfast, cooked when ordered arrived piping hot. Quietest place we stayed the entire trip.

Nothing. Everything was great. Crisitan was awesome and the B&B was awesome. I guess the one think I didn't like was how short of time we was there, I wish we would have booked longer here.
