Very comfortable tastefully decorated and furnished hotel room very quiet despite being above main drawing room could not hear a thing stunning views across top of town to hills beyond with binoculars to scan the view. Very comfortable bed room spotlessly clean. Even proper instructions on how to use coffee machine. Breakfast excellent with numerous choices. Staff genuinely friendly and discretely efficient. Good location up the hill from the town centre so a short pleasant walk through delightful highland Victorian architecture. One of Scotland’s prettiest towns so well worth a visit. Hotel has plenty of safe parking not that Pitlochry has many crime anyway.

The hotel is a short walk from the town and is set on a hill so there is a nice view from some of the rooms. The decor is very tasteful, and everything is well maintained and comfortable. The dinner is always excellent and I like that you are asked to go into the sitting room to choose from the menu and have a drink along with canapes until being taken through to the dining room. The dining room has white tablecloths for both dinner and breakfast.

Nothing worthy of note.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Patricia who informed us that our room had been upgraded to a suite. The room was fantastic, very spacious, exceptionally clean and the view was stunning. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Patricia really looked after us during our stay and every member of staff we spoke to were extremely friendly. The food is fantastic, I would really recommend eating in the hotel as the menu changes daily and you are served canapés in the beautiful lounge before dinner. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely nothing!!!

Hotel is committed to service of the highest quality. It makes the best of its older property by style and decor. I'm Very restful lounge area. The stand-out feature for us was the variety and quality of the food. The chef selects the menu offerings based on availability and quality of his ingredients - and in our experience this led to very happy diners. Expertly prepared, attractively presented, and served with courtesy and efficiency. What's not to like! The manager Vicki went out of her way to ensure that our experience in her hotel was memorable.

Simple - nothing!

Upset because after I paid booking.com we discovered the hotel was giving a much cheaper deal than we had already paid for and it was too late to cancel booking.com The food and service was exceptional, much better than we expected but the room was over priced we thought (unless we had taken the direct deal)

The location was much more in the town than we expected and our once magnificent view was obstructed by housing developments. The hotel entrance wasn't attractive but our room was very comfortable but not with a good view. The food and service was excellent and great value for money.

The (balcony) room was comfortable and quiet with the anticipated beautiful views. Bathroom is ok and with plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries provided. We enjoyed the lounge with a drink and complimentary canapes before dinner. Location and parking excellent.

The evening meals were well presented and imaginative but a little heavy on the salt. The breakfast was ok but a little spartan for a hotel costing several hundred pounds a night. The local area guide booklets in the lounge were really just adverts for local businesses rather than guides on what to see and visit locally.

We really liked staying at Knockendarroch. The hotel is located in a gorgeous, historical building on top a hill, offering great views of the Pitlochry area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There plenty of parking on the premises. The hotel offers great breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of options to pick from. We also had our dinners at the hotel restaurant as well. The dinner was delicious as well. Each day, there is a different dinner menu (appetizer, main and dessert). We tried several items. We really liked venison, lamb and pork roulette. Pitlochry and the area offer a lot of great place to explore. Other further away sights, Balmoral, Perth or St Andrews, are easily reachable on a day trip.

First class. Superb luxury. They upgraded us as we were on our honeymoon to the larch suite which was an amazing suite, stunning views and accommodated every creature comfort and more. The bed was soooo comfortable, the room warm which was particularly nice after exploring the area in a snowy November. The food is wonderful and all served by friend helpful staff. Shall definitely be returning as I was very reluctant to leave

Nothing. Everything and everyone of the staff, without expecting, were great.

The hotel has plenty of parking and is an easy walk to the town, our room was very comfortable with beautiful views. The chef is excellent providing a different menu for each day and delicious canapés before dinner in the lounge. The staff were very professional and friendly, we had a pre theatre dinner and they ensured we were at the theatre in time and then picked up afterwards. We would recommend the hotel and hope to return again soon.
