Spacious and comfortable rooms, clean and nicely furnished. Sound of running stream outside some of our group’s rooms. Fans provided for comfort. Simply amazing breakfast included with wonderful breakfast staff. Restaurant at inn is good for lunch: dinner, and other great food options nearby. Highly recommended.

Very minor— For group members that had rooms facing front (towards the outdoor bar), it is fairly lively and noisy in the afternoons and evenings until 10:15– when the music is turned off. Only a problem if you are an early sleeper. But the provided fan allows you to cut the noise.

Loved everything about the Old Mill Inn. If I could give it more than a 10 on everything I would. We were coming in from a 8 day trip in Ireland and my husband said he wished he had come to Scotland sooner. The stream beside our room was so wonderful to fall asleep to. You couldn’t get a better location. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff were outstanding. From the minute I checked in I was treated great. From the personal walk through on where to park and the after hours door instructions. You will NOT regret your stay. BYW on Mondays they play the bagpipes and walk through the streets (and people follow) down to an outdoor performance of singers,dancers and some Scottish comedy.

This was a well run family business in a town dominated by tourism. The room was comfortable and clean. Meals were mainly good and service was excellent and friendly. We are mature cyclists. Our bikes were sensibly stored overnight.

Not much. Nit picking: Most Breakfast in other hotels has been self service, fairly efficient and occasionally waste minimal. Here, we felt “ over served” if that’s possible . We wish the music on speakers outside in the hotel grounds could have been switched off at 10 30 pm as predicted. We missed out on an hour’s sleep!

We love everything about this hotel. We have stayed a few times. We were in room 12 last visit (deluxe double). The room is spacious, spotless!, and so comfy. You have everything you could need. The check in process is speedy. The hotel is charming and has a great vibe, as it's always busy. The bar and restaurant are amazing, (tip- book your dinner at check in). If you stay Friday/Saturday you can also take advantage of the live band in the bar. The free parking to rear is great! The staff are always so accommodating. Best advantage of this hotel is the location!

There is nothing I did not like!

Beautiful hotel/pub, the location is fabulous and the staff all lovely, friendly and helpful. We had lunch and dinner there, which were both absolutely lovely! Our bedroom was also beautiful and very clean!

Although our bedroom was lovely, the bed was very uncomfortable and we both had an awful night sleep! Bed was 2 singles joined into a double, which is fine, but they had tried to cover the join in the bed by putting a duvet or similar over the join, all this achieved was to keep moving you from the centre of the bed to the edge of the bed, it just created a slope which was very uncomfortable! Breakfast was lovely, but I had boiled eggs, which were served in a dish, I burned my fingers trying to take the shell off - why not serve them in an egg cup and make them easy to eat, maybe just a silly thing but I just didn't get it

This hotel was perfect for our little getaway on a long weekend. The room was excellent and exceeded our expectations totally. The staff were very friendly and helped us with an early check-in followed by a superb Sunday roast lunch. The staff also asked us our plans and then followed up with us about them later on, which shows a lot of individual care and attention. They really went above and beyond in terms of customer care and support. The working water wheel and surrounding area were a huge bonus as well. Atmosphere, friendliness, and quality can't be beat! I highly recommend The Old Mill Inn.

Have frequented the Old Mill Inn many times as a dining guest, but decided to stay this time, I was not disappointed. The rooms are exceptional appointed, with all the modern technologies that might confuse those that aren’t up to date! The underfloor heating for one is very efficient, but a tad complicated to control, found it very warm. Had to call on staff to show me how to put on the bedside lamps, even they had trouble! The surround music system was indeed very good, controlled by a digital screen on the wall. It is a very, modern and comfortable place to stay, not to mention the excellent food supplied in the restaurant. Looking forward to my next stay!!

On arrival we found the car park to be extremely small which would be the only criticism about this place. Receptionist was charming and very helpful and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know - and every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our two night stay and the food was exceptional - all freshly prepared. The cleanliness of the whole hotel was really really good - some more upmarket hotels where we've stayed could learn a thing or two from the Old Mill Inn on all counts from staff, food and cleanliness.

Car park was the only downside, however we arrived at times when parking space was available.

The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with a sofa, small table and chairs. Very nice to spend a night in. The breakfast was good. Pitlochry is a lovely location if you have never been, and I would recommend the whisky tour at Blair Atholl, which is within a reasonable walking distance.

Large screens showing sport constantly detracts from the traditional pub surroundings in the main bar itself. The evening menu was very pricey, and the selection limited and poor in our view, but there are plenty of other options in the village.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, and our room was just luxury. The bar was open yet traditional, and plenty of outdoor seating. And amazingly on a really warm weekend, adequately staffed for such a big crowd! We had lunch there and the food was delicious. Staff were lovely, especially the Croatian receptionist. Very central location, so easy to walk everywhere in town.

We were lucky and got a parking space but it is very limited. There may be more parking elsewhere that I don’t know about though.
