Yes the breakfast was excellent - enjoyed the whiskey which goes with the porridge. An unwanted late arrival was well dealt with in a friendly way and staff wasfriendly , too.

Room size at the smaller end, tea did not get re filled properly and yes apologies we did use a lot . Bathroom without window , a lot of don t take me with you signs regarding shampoo / soaps - this is really going on my nerves, i think the average German or English gentleman doesn t need such reminders.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming boutique hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the tastefully decorated interiors that beautifully complement the building's historic era. Each room is a delightful blend of modern comfort and classic elegance, making for a truly unique experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable; every corner is spotless, which added to the overall feeling of comfort and relaxation. The grounds are equally lovely, providing serene spots to unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment, making it feel like a true home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was one of the best I've had, featuring a delicious variety of options to suit every palate. The coffee was exceptional, providing the perfect start to each day. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and valued throughout my visit. In conclusion, if you're looking for a boutique hotel that offers a blend of charm, comfort, and exceptional service, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem and can't wait to return!

This was our third visit to this wonderful lodge in picturesque Pitlochry. It had been a number of years since our last visit and we knew the lodge was a fantastic place to stay but this visit exceeded our expectations. The room was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom had a separate bath and amazing shower. Our room had a coffee machine with pods and separate tea and coffee facility with tunnochs teacakes which are my favourite. The breakfast is superb and understandably award winning. Compliments to the the chef. All the staff we encountered were amazing. A fantastic two nights rest and relaxation and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Pitlochry.

We liked everything.

Stayed before on an anniversary break, so more than happy to stay again on a “passing through” Pitlochry trip! As it was January, they were offering a discount stay deal, which was even better. This time we were upgraded to a courtyard room. (Stayed in the main hotel building before). Lovely well appointed room and bathroom. Very much enjoyed a long soak in the bath. Great location within a short walking distance to the main town centre. The owner and her staff are lovely and very welcoming. Another great breakfast. Will def stay again.

Very very small points…….the sensor light in the hallway part of the room doesn’t stay on quite long enough. For such a lovely bathroom, can’t bear the “hang over the shower” holder. Would love to see wall mounted shower/shampoos instead. Maybe a hand towel holder near the sink too?

Very well appointed rooms, loved the balconies overlooking the trees. Bottled water, Tunnocks treats, tea and coffee, fluffy towels and dressing gowns all provided. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and served quickly. We loved arriving in the breakfast room each morning and sitting down to admire the beautiful views of the distant hills, mists and autumn colours. Great choice of food for breakfast, all extremely high quality, I can see why it has won awards. The pancake with banana, bacon and maple syrup was gorgeous. 5 minute walk into Pitlochry, which is a beautiful little town with plenty of good restaurants and cafes. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Had a wonderful stay, thank you!

We were immediately made to feel really welcome on arrival, Calum gave a quick overview of what to see and do in and around Pitlochry, this included excellent recommendations of where to go for dinner and local walks. The accommodation is of a really high standard and is immaculately clean. The choice for breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent. The added beautiful views from the breakfast room added to the experience. The staff were all fantastic and made us both feel welcome. We will be looking at staying again soon.

Location was perfect. Parking easy. Staff great. Breakfast Delicious. Roominess excellent. We stayed for 6 nights and would've been happy to stay longer. The location was nice because we could walk to the Co-op market, to the Moulin Inn pub, or to town in 6 minutes or less. And the walk is beautiful. Each morning, the full menu and full service was beyond excellent. The staff are all brilliant. Our room was very spacious and we had a walkout to the yard (Though it was too cold for us to enjoy, the room includes clean cushions for outdoor comfort.)

Oh... the doorknob at the main office entry is pretty low for a tall guy to reach. :) Really, there's nothing we can thing of that we didn't like about this charming hotel.

We were on the top floor with a balcony, which you could comfortably sit outside in peace. The room was very spacious with luxurious decor and lots of storage. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom had a great size bath and walk-in shower. The breakfast menu was extensive with starters and then a main dish alongside tea/coffee, fruit juice, and toast. The staff were really friendly and approachable. The staff at breakfast were very attentive, and the service was brilliant.

No, nothing we didn't like.

Staying at the Craigmhor Lodge was an absolute delight—a perfect blend of Scottish charm and warm, personalized hospitality that made our visit unforgettable. This family-run gem offers an atmosphere of genuine warmth and care that is rare to find. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like treasured guests than mere visitors, with each family member bringing their own unique touch to our stay. The decor reflects the beauty of Scotland, with a tasteful mix of traditional and modern touches that make each room cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning, with delicious, home-cooked options that showcased local ingredients. We could truly taste the care and pride that goes into every meal. One of the family members even took the time to share recommendations for local hidden gems, making our trip all the more special and helping us experience Scotland from a local’s perspective. The lodge is more than just a beautiful place to stay; it’s a place where you feel at home, surrounded by people who genuinely care about their guests. It’s a rare find, and we left feeling refreshed, with wonderful memories and a longing to return. If you’re looking for a charming, personalized experience in Scotland, this lodge is a must. Highly recommended!

The hotel was in a very convenient and beautiful location within the town. Our greeting upon arrival was warm and welcoming with a very speedy check-in. Our room was beautifully furnished with a lovely view from the balcony looking out to the woodland and burn below. It was quiet and peaceful. Bathroom was pristine and very well appointed and finished. Bed was extremely comfortable. Facilities were excellent including the iron/ironing board and small fridge for keeping chilled foods. Our breakfast was delicious, especially the Berry Granola - not to be missed!! Very deserving of the awards won over the past years. Staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying Craigmhor Lodge & Courtyard and hope to visit again soon.
