Hard not to like anything. Newly opened refurbished hotel. Everything was lovely and fresh . Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding, though limited menu whilst they get fully on their feet and recruit a full staff.

I cannot honestly say there was't anything to dislike. As being a dog friendly hotel, they do need to put some dog waste bins somewhere, as that was lacking.

The Fortingall Hotel, is a quaint hotel looking onto the beautiful surroundings of the Tay Forrest and only a short distance from the loch itself. We had the privilege of staying one night, in one of the family suites. We were attending a wedding near by, so unfortunately did not manage to experience the hotel to it’s entirety, however the room was very spacious and comfortable for what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and staff were very pleasant and helpful with our needs, including accommodating an early check in.

That we only stayed one night, as would have loved to experience the evening meal and other facilities, which have come highly recommended.

The Fortingall is everything it promised on its website. The staff are so helpful and friendly and really made our stay there a real treat. The breakfast and dinners are excellent. We enjoyed the live music in the bar on Sunday night by some very talented musicians. We will come and stay again and use it to explore this beautiful area. Glen Lyon is spectacular.

Stunning decor, enjoyed the extra touches like the bathrobes and gorgeous toiletries too! The hosts were so lovely, we would love to stay again. Beautiful breakfast and they were very accommodating with our little dog!

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were incredible and really made the whole experience. We arrived on the Friday when they have live music which was loud as we were above the bar, but the moment we checked in they told us exactly when this would end and it did. They did ask us if we needed it to end earlier to ask and its be switched off in a heart beat. The music was actually really great and we didn't feel any need to ask! Again the staff were incredible and a credit to the hotel.

Overall the food was excellent. On arrival the reception we got was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a peaceful location and The Ewe bar next door a delight.

Beautiful place, lovely food, very attentive staff, a really nice experience. Will definitely go back in April when they have done the refurbishments. A gem of a place🤗

We didn’t dislike anything

The facilities and breakfast were excellent. We chose the location because of a wedding we were attending nearby and couldn't have wished for better.

Everything except the Roman Blind in the bathroom that had been broken before we arrived.

it had a big piano which my daughter could play. a really nice breakfast. great views and weather.
