The location of the hotel and the grounds were stunning. Not too far to be able to walk down into Aberfeldy for a stroll around the shops and restaurants. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Scottish Tapas evening was enjoyable and we tried quite a few different meals we wouldn't normally have done. The room we had (cedar room) was perfect for us and had windows on two sides so we could enjoy the view of the grounds. The tea / coffee / water was refilled everyday which was also a bonus. We enjoyed the Scottish breakfast every morning, especially the overnight oats! It was nice to also have the use of the pool, sauna and steam room - it is just a shame the jacuzzi was out of order.
We would have loved to have enjoyed an afternoon tea but we didn't realise 24 hour notice was required - maybe reception on arrival could say we have the option to book this, would you like to book one while you are here? The only other thing was maybe the TV in the Cedar Room could do with an upgrade.

Great location, beautiful surroundings, 10 mins walk from town centre (along the Moness burn) and central for hill walks too. And 15 mins walk to Dewar's Distillery on the farm roads (through the back gate, google will show you) The cottage was spacious, well equipped with great views of the pond. The ducks came running in the morning as I opened the window, asking me to share my breakfast, so i got peas from the shop but it turned out the reception had duck food too on offer. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The sauna - with new benches-, steam room and swimming pool are great in the long winter evenings.

We have been several times now and enjoyed it every single time. 1st time staying in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was fantastic. Big, spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant lovely too. We booked for 2 nights but unfortunately the storm on Frid 24th Jan prevented us from travelling so missed 1 night. Staff at the resort offered us the Sunday which was very good of them but work on Monday prevented us from being able to stay. Loved our time again as its so peaceful and relaxing at Moness. We will be back soon.
Dislike nothing. Missing our 1st night due to the storm as we stay in the red weather warning area was the only dislike.

We cannot fault the location of the hotel just a short walk from the Birk’s of Aberfeldy and the town. All the staff were excellent throughout the hotel. We booked an executive room which had plenty of room with the addition of armchairs and a table. Bits and pieces could do with a bit of attention, like the the worktop in the bathroom which was very worn.
The dinner menu choice was adequate, however was not to a 4 star standard, would not expect steak pie (with undercooked pastry) and fish and chips on a 4 star table d’hote menu! Dinner on our second night (02/01) was a bit of a disaster due to the kitchen running out of ingredients, no chips with the fish and chips! Kale replaced with broccoli ! All in all evening meal was a disappointment.

The room was large and spacious. Also very clean. As it was our wedding anniversary, we arrived to a lovely bottle of chilled Prosecco and a tray of macaroons and other goodies. Being coeliac, I checked at reception to see if the were suitable, which they weren’t, and was very quickly sent a “special” plate of goodies for me!!
Pillows on the bed were very ‘lumpy” and uncomfortable. Having coeliac disease, there were several items that I couldn’t have on the breakfast menu. No GF breakfast cereals were supplied, the items I couldn’t have for the cooked breakfast were just discounted, and not offered alternatives or extras of the ones I could have! I paid the same as everyone else having breakfast, but not offered the same choices.

Accommodation was clean, spacious and had most of the things you would expect for self-catering accommodation. Ideally location for heading out into Perthshire. The facilities including the pool, steam room and spa were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The resident ducks were friendly (or were simply after food). We would stay again.
We didn't get the chance to eat in the restaurant because during our stay of several nights a fresh coach-load of tourists seemed to arrive each day and filled the place. However, there are a number of nice places to eat a short walk away in Aberfeldy.

Absolutely delighted with our stay. Unexpected welcome box containing delicious scones, butter, jam & milk. We also received a handwritten welcome card and we got a phonecall an hour after check in just to check all was ok. Really makes a difference to have these little touches. Our cottage was huge, newly refurbished, cosy & comfy. The showers were amazing! Had everything we needed and the best hot tub we've ever been in. The lounge TV having YouTube , Netflix & Prime was great. The heating was so efficient! Heated up in no time. Pool was ideal with excellent steam room. Location was perfect with shops, cafes and walks just 5mins away. Already looking to book again!
Struggling to find fault with our stay so really scraping the barrel here.....Could do with a shelf in bathroom for toiletries and door hooks in bathrooms and bedrooms for towels/robes. Chest of drawers in bedrooms would be handy. Some big bowls and serving plates in kitchen and better knives would be good. The mugs were on the small side. A doormat inside the patio door and extra towels for use in the hot tub wouldn't go amiss but we managed. Shame the sauna wasn't working in the pool area. Oh, and the locker keys need a wrist band or something because you can't hold a key while swimming!

Lovely spacious room and comfortable bed. All staff were very friendly. The meals were very good quality, both breakfast (with great choices) and the evening meal. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful main building.
IThe satnav couldn't locate the hotel! t's almost a holiday park which includes hotel accommodation. I didn't like having to walk through the grounds to get to the dining room especially as it was raining. The dining room is very large. We asked for the music to be turned down......which it was. However the decor was beauitiful....seems like a mansion house...and the food was excellent. Aberfeldy is a little off the beaten track!

The room was large with plenty of room to swing a cat. The bathroom was very clean with a lovely big bath and separate shower unit. The meals in the restaurant were varied and very nice, the service was also very good.
An explanation of how the 'Half Board' works as they didn't give you an idea of how much was available to use when you booked the room. Neither Reception or Waiting Staff explained this. Basic TV channels when you could access them with a dodgy remote with sticky keys. If you use SatNav, make sure its up to date, as it was a nightmare to get to for me (must get mine updated!) I didn't use the Leisure facilities so can't make any comment.

The hot tub and privacy were excellent. The cottage was clean and well provided with towels, dressing gowns and slippers. The welcome pack with scones, mild and jam was a lovely touch. The resort location is excellent for exploring the Perthshire area by car. It is also a very short walk into Aberfeldy. We also enjoyed the small pool, sauna and steam room. Perfect for a short break with friends.
The shower was not very powerful at all. The whole resort is nice, but is looking a little tired and could do with a re-vamp
