Great b&b is well situated for the town. The owner gave us a lovely greeting when we arrived. The room was comfortable, bed as well. It was a bit warm even though the window was open. We're not used to this hot weather. Breakfast was well presented. Plenty choice. Well served to the table. Very polite and friendly staff. Loved the folding chairs. Good idea. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks to owner and staff. Would recommend to others.

The room was a bit small. However, we knew this when we booked it . Needs a wee bit updating. Wouldn't put us off coming back. Maybe a couple of coat hooks on the back of the door for jackets so you don't put wet jackets beside other clothes.

The room was spacious and clean, and the free parking was large and located inside the property, so not on the street. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from both the town center and the harbor of Stonehaven. We stayed here for just one night during our road trip through Scotland, and it was a pleasant, problem-free stay. Breakfast was decent. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were helpful with our child, providing a comfortable crib and a high chair for breakfast.

The bathroom was a bit small. It wasn’t a problem, and it was perfectly fine for one night, but it was quite difficult to move around with two people [one adult and a two-year-baby]/

Christian answered the door straight away. He was polite and friendly. The room whilst on what I would say was the smaller size, was perfectly adequate for our stay. I enjoyed sitting by the open window. The shower was clean - the bathroom looked to have been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. We were provided with large, clean, good quality towels. The heating in the room could be adjusted. Whilst there were other guests staying we didn’t hear them whilst in our room. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order but we didn’t wait long for it. The Buttonboss is ideally located on the high street and has private parking.

Very well located and very clean, everything you would expect from a bed and breakfast. Compact but well structured bathroom with excellent water pressure. Beds were comfortable and, despite overlooking the main road, we had a quiet night’s sleep. Very friendly and attentive staff!

We were disappointed that there was no cooked breakfast. We were really looking forward to the traditional B&B experience and a Full Scottish Breakfast.

What a lovely central B’n’B in Pitlochry. We wanted to stay the night after a matinee at the theatre. However we couldn’t afford some of the eye watering prices for most of the places here. This place was just perfect for a night or a few nights stay. Excellent service from Christian and his partner were excellent hosts and everything was catered for when we stayed overnight.

Yes the en-suite is slightly small but all ok with wc basin and shower. A little outdated doors, decor etc but for the price it was perfect 👌🏼

The room was simple but had everything we could ever want including ensuite shower room and tea and coffee facilities. We were invited to use the guest lounge which we did. It was comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was lovely and was cooked to order and thanks to the kindness of the host we were able to get porridge even though it wasn't on the menu. By the way, they make the best porridge ever! I was really grateful for their attention to detail and their kindness in giving me something I could eat. It was very much appreciated.

Have stayed here several times although this was the first time we have stayed in the little flat. Great location and tasty breakfast in the morning, can’t fault it. The self contained flat had a bedroom with 3 single beds and the living room had a double bed and two large sofas. A little kitchen area was a bonus as we were able to make coffee (coffee, biscuits and milk were provided). The bathroom was clean and plenty of towels were supplied. The flat also had its own entrance directly into the car park. The B&B is a beautiful building with lots of original features.

The self contained flat is really good for 4 people however decor is a little dated. That said we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending or indeed returning in future.

Buttonboss Lodge is cute, clean and welcoming. Rooms are small but comfortable. Loved the common area with a window on the street where we would end our day with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers, or fresh baked bread from nearby "The Bakery" which has amazing baked goods and sandwiches. Christian and the other staff were wonderful. Having a custom breakfast in the cute dining room was a great way to start our day. Off street free parking was a huge plus. We could easily walk the main street from our front door. Loved "Heathergems" unique jewelery across the street. Highly recommend.

The thing that stands out in my memory about this stay is how friendly and helpful the owner Cristian was. When I was making arrangements for the trip he was very quick to reply to me and offer assistance with any query that I had. This attitude continued once I arrived at Buttonboss. Th property is located on the main road into Pitlochry, just a couple of hundred yards from the centre of the town, so is very close to all amenities, but it is still very peaceful. It has a nice outdoor garden area and there is plenty of off road parking for residents. The room was comfortable rather than luxurious but suited my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, there were tea and coffee making facilities, a small tv and adequate clothes storage. There was also a small sitting room next to my room if I needed a bit more space. Breakfast was lovely, with a good range of cereals and juices and Cristian was happy to prepare your choice of cooked items to order. These arrived quickly and were of a high standard.

To be honest, I had no complaints of any kind about my stay. Buttonboss is not luxurious, but it is clean and comfortable. The combination of a great location, lovely breakfast and fantastic host make it an excellent choice as a base to explore Pitlochry.

Overall, the property is really nice, both in the common areas and in the gardens. Parking is really close and convenient. Breakfast is fantastic in a cozy and very typical room. The owner is friendly and available.

Unfortunately, the apartment we stayed in was really old and poorly maintained compared to the other rooms in the building. Also, it was not very clean, as if it had not been used for a while. The furniture was not as nice and neat as in the photos
