The rooms were beautifully presented and thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of space for my wife and me. It was clear that the couple who run this property take great pride in their business, as everything was impeccably maintained. We stayed for the Etape event, and Lesley went out of her way to ensure I was well-fuelled by offering an earlier breakfast sitting. Meanwhile, Ronnie kindly stored my bike for the weekend and had it ready for me as I set off for the event. These thoughtful touches made my day run seamlessly. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!

We had no personal dislikes whatsoever

The property with beautiful garden was centrally located within a short walk to main street’s shops and restaurants. It was clean and well tended by very friendly hosts Ron and Leslie who provided excellent local recommendations and a wide selection of breakfast which was delicious especially the home-baked croissants! Visiting nearby Blair Castle was the highlight of our journey so far. Ron kindly gave us discount coupons for the castle and various eateries.

McKinnon room which faces the beautiful garden was cozy but could do with higher shower pressure, perhaps as part of the upcoming renovation to put in a balcony and French doors.

We have been traveling for over 3 weeks and have had very nice accommodations throughout our trip, but Derrybeg outshines them all. Everything about this B&B is a +10. The welcoming hosts, the cleanliness of the entire B&B, the superb breakfasts, the landscaping of the grounds, and the ideal location on a quiet street minutes walk from the main street. It is an outstanding accommodation. I highly recommend it. By the way, the hosts name their rooms: we were in the Anderson room, with a view from the bay windows of the gardens and hills. Exceptional room!

Host gave early entry/parking as town was so busy.Fully appreciate why Derrybegs wins awards.Perfection to the last detail but welcoming and relaxed.Room spotless with all usual accessories including a breathtaking view..Use of lovely residents lounge if required and own key complete with mini torch.Breakfast pre selected evening prior was again perfect.Hosts friendly and obviously love what they do….running a first class establishment.Highly recommended.

It was perfect. Stayed in many hotels which could learn a lot from Derrybeg hosts.We will definitely return and recommend without hesitation.

Ronnie and Lesley are excellent hosts very friendly and willing to assist with any requirements. The room was immaculate and had everything needed for our stay. Breakfast was top-notch, very tasty, and good quality products. The Derrybeg is situated just behind the main street and only a 5 min walk to the town.

There's nothing to dislike the place is perfect

Warm welcome on arrival, room comfortable and very clean. Breakfast very good, lovely room with stunning views, food exceptional. Hosts both came to say Bye when we left and chatted with us about our journey which we all enjoyed. Bed linen high quality, beds comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep. Easy, private parking at Derrybeg. Very happy we chose Derrybeg and we will look forward to returning.

Location, very clean, breakfast was cooked to order with croissants to die for. Hosts Ronnie and Leslie were engaging and friendly sharing some history and local recommendations with us. Definitely would book again.

Our room was a bit small but with a spectacular view of the countryside. Plans in place to make this room spectacular for 2026.

Great location just 5mins walk into the lovely little town of pitlochry. The accommodation is really lovely with super views from the breakfast room and terrace and I imagine some of the bedrooms. Friendly owners who are happy to help with any questions about the area or places to eat etc. Very clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast menu offered everything you could possibly want including beautiful fresh mixed fruit, porridge oats and fresh cream, hot cooked breakfasts and more!!! Thanking you both kindly for a super and memorable stay.

Hot water for bath did run lukewarm during peak times.

Loved everything about our stay. The whole experience was exceptional. Ronnie and Lesley are wonderful hosts and made us feel most welcome. Their B&B is beautifully decorated and our room was very comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious, and the choice was amazing. Will definitely book with them again. Huge thanks for a fabulous stay.

One Scottish word that sums up this amazing place #BRAW. Myself & my wife eventually got a few days away from our young kids & had an amazing time away this weekend. We hadn’t been away for a few years and The Derrybeg provided a fabulous stay. Lesley & Ronnie are a lovely couple who are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. great bit chatting and just really down to earth. Breakfast was fantastic, room was lovely and clean. great Scottish names on the doors, bed was very comfy, and exceptional views from their beautiful garden. you can also bring your own bottle of wine and chill outside and look over the Tummel Vally. 5min walk to the bars and restaurants and Ronnie also provides a taxi service for any of the customers. i wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
