We checked in on August 14, 2025 at around 8:55pm ish, the staff (didnt check his name) who was at the front desk was amazing!!! He had to deal with something urgent when we checked-in. There were a few groups of people waiting at the reception, he was calm and let us know he needed to deal with something and will come back in a few minutes, he seemed a bit nervous, but he was patient with all the guests who had questions and who were checking-in. We enjoyed our stay, it's very clean, quiet, and appreciate the amazing staff!! It's a good distance to go down south to lassen national park as well, a bit further going to crater lake, but a nice one night stay if you're stopping mid way.

There was a restaurant/bar on site and a pool/hot tub. Our room had patio access, which was very nice as we were traveling with a dog. Beds were VERY comfortable. Room was very clean.

I always look for breakfast included, but not a lot of choices in the area that were pet friendly. With a restaurant on site, adding breakfast would seem pretty easy (I've seen "limited menus" at some hotels). I did not see an extra pet charge on Booking.com. I assumed the price INCLUDED the pet fee, since "pet friendly" was my main search criteria. (If it is listed somewhere, I didn't see it - and I looked.)

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and decently priced.

I was charged for two rooms. I cancelled late (about 15minutes after the cutoff time due to car trouble), then was able to get a AWD rental. Called back about fifteen minutes later to reschedule another room. Spoke with Best Western staff who said that the room was already rented out, so had to rent a different room (ultimately at a price of $300+ for the night. Needless to say, I didn’t expect to get a full refund, but definitely hoped for a bit of mercy. Merry Christmas to you, too, Best Western Plus Tree House in Shasta.

I liked the view of Mt. Shasta from the 2nd Floor after I complained about the NO view room I was given on the 1st night.

I didn't like that I paid for 3 nights for a Mountain view and on the 1st night I was put in a ground floor room with trucks and trees blocking my " Mountain View". Also the TV did not work the 1st night but they fixed it the 2nd day. The Spa pool was/is out of order as well.

The staff were amazing, specially Nancy, the waitress at the breakfast restaurant. The pool and hot tube were very good, clean and with towels. The gym was very well equipped and clean. Rooms are clean, little old, but I think it’s the style of a country hotel. Location was amazing, with a beautiful view of Mount Shasta! Very close to Shasta City and to other attractions near Shasta. We loved staying here! Extra: my son forgot his watch. They found it and offered to send by mail!!

Great place to stay in Mt Shasta. Passing through on a road trip, stayed for 1 night. Excellent location. Close to everything (coffee shops, restaurants, town), but did not need to leave the property as they have a very nice bar/lounge and restaurant on site. I ended up enjoying a very good dinner and breakfast the next morning. Rooms were very large, comfortable and clean (got a very good night's sleep). Staff was amazing - very professional, hospitable and attentive. Made sure that I had everything that I needed. I was traveling solo and felt very safe, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay there again.

I would love it if they stocked liquid creamer in the room (with the coffee maker) instead of powdered creamer.

Nice location off the freeway for the value, clean room, good amenities and very friendly staff. Restaurant on site is good. Its also close to food, coffee and gas.

Noise from freeway exists but not as bad as anticipated. Beds need an upgrade badly. Gov workers need a lesson in manners when they are up at 5am. Guys next to us were very loud at night and in the morning.

Location is excellent. Rooms clean and staff wonderful and helpful. Meals wide choice and tasty.i got the 1st floor which was very great to get in and out. Parking just in front of your room. Noticed so many EV chargers and different types. Gym was well equipped and the pool and hot tub a warm welcome after all the hiking. Its so nice to be able to walk right out and take in the majestic view of Mt Shasta…

Strangely as we travel north noticed that none of the hotel rooms have a safe…?

we missed happy hour so we paid quite a bit more for our meal which was fair, we had great service. Breakfast was just ok. this isn't a knock but there was only one waitress and she was working her tail off, so if you are in a hurry I would suggest going somewhere else but the service was great just took a while.

everything was fine with the exception of the last night. there were a few drunks that were in the room next to us and they were yelling at each other. one even saying they would kill the other person if they would "do that again.." made my wife uncomfortable.

I did not eat at the restaurant so do not have a comment about that, but I do think it would be helpful if there was information about the restaurant in the room or at the front desk. I would like to mention that Pauline at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.

A large part of the facility does not have an elevator.
