The 2 ladies who assisted me with the check-in were extremely nice and accommodating. I ordered dinner from the restaurant and one of ladies was very kind to bring it to my room. I ordered the korean style salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The extras that came with the meal were a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. As a lone female traveling i felt very safe. I wish my stay was longer. Everything was great!! I would definitely stay here again and most certainly will eat at the restaurant. The food was fantastic 😁

This was my 2nd time staying here. I loved it just as much as the 1st time. The king beds were the best beds i have ever slept in. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. We had asked for the first floor due to having small kids and they fulfilled the request. Definitely our go to place to stay when taking a trip through Norwich.

The wifi password wasn't given to us. We also could not get ice easily. The computer system was down when we got there which was frustrating but not their fault. The lighting wasn't great in the main area but the bathroom has great lighting.

I traveled to Norwich for a high school reunion. Check-in was easy, with everyone very helpful and friendly. On Sunday morning, I went to the lounge, hoping for maybe some coffee and pastries, but I found a feast! Evidently, the Sunday brunch at Fred's Inn is famous, and rightly so -- there was everything one could think of, plus a chocolate fountain. There was an omelette and Belgian waffle stand for individual orders. Everything I chose was delicious! I had a pleasant chat with some ladies on the wait staff, too. As for the room: it was spotless, the bathroom was in excellent condition, very clean, and there was a microwave and mini fridge, just for my use -- no super expensive bottles of soda, water, alcohol, etc. Very good, fast internet, too.

There was an odor of gas, which I noticed at first. It went away when I ran the air conditioner.

Very nice room. Throwback in style, but comfortable and spacious. Room had everything needed…sitting area, work area, fridge and microwave. Parking was a breeze and a pretty good restaurant. Staff was wonderful.

Room wasn’t done, but that could have been my fault, as I didn’t request service (which has become the thing, post pandemic). No HOT water for shower…never got past semi-cold (but did wake me up). Called to the desk…they took care of it while I was out.

Dinner was fabulous, perfect steak dinner and had coupon for champagne and 20.00 off room

Housekeeping was a little lacking, supposed to come every day and did not, didn’t vacuum only a couple times in an 8 day stay. Forgot key in room, Robert said someone would be there in a minute. Husband waited an hour and no one came so he left. Got key later when we got back to hotel. They did apologize.

Great local inn. There is a good restaurant and bar associated with the property so it's very convenient when coming through the area. The bed and room are comfortable enough and the restaurant is great to have right there. Staff very friendly.

Nothing really was out of line with my expectations.

Cute, lots of character, great location. The one staff Member who was still there when we arrived at 10 graciously fixed me a drink, though the restaurant was all closed. Good value. Beds could use updating, but they were plenty good enough to get a good night’s sleep!

We loved that all the staff at the Inn and restaurant were friendly. We also loved the food at the restaurant especially for me the dessert buffet. The room was clean and there was a coffee machine, microwave and a mini fridge.

It was my fault but I booked the wrong room and we wanted the room with the jacuzzi so that was disappointing. The bed was ok in comfort, there was no Wi-Fi and it was outdated.

Room was fine. There was a little noise from the people in the room above, but it did not last very long. The restaurant was AWESOME!!!

Not enough light in the room. Only two lamps.

Great Location for visiting the Norwich, NY area. The on-site restaurant is comfortable and has a lot of interesting historical facts and pictures about the area. The food is very good too.
