Ok. So I rate 5 stars based off my own personal preference. My room was clean fresh towels fresh linens didn't smell ac worked fridge and microwave works and this matters because I'm traveling with kids. The pool is clean despite it looking like there is leafs on the bottom it's actually paint chipped off I know because I tried to clean it lol. The people that work in the office, huge shout out to Andy, Alma, and Victoria, Friendly and kind 😇 and I love those kind of people. I hope they get a raise. They deserve it. The bad part. Here it comes. And it's no fault to the staff or the hotel but I feel like u should know. The prostitutes they come out at night. No one harassed us so again I have no complaints but I was hyper aware of their presence on account of my 11 year old daughter. She likes to swim. So we saw them sadly walking up and down the strip. Other then that the hotel was wonderful. U should not dock the staff and hotel for things they seriously cannot control. This was in my opinion a safe clean hotel to stay at while visiting salinas.

It kind of got sketchy at night but no one gave us any problems and we swam until 10pm.

This is actually the only hotel I trust in salinas. I'm from the area so I know how it is around here. It's hot every where but by far this one is cool. I mean it's not on a safe area but I had a safe stay so idk. I stayed here for about 2 weeks and it was perfectly fine. My kids were noisy nobody complained the maids were extremely friendly. I can't complain the sheets where Clean keep in mind that prior to being here I had been in motel 6 which is infested in bed bugs. This one was clean It took me 2 days to get rid of them and i only stayed for a bit and thee amount of clothes I threw away my God.

I love everything just the area it's not the safest but I didn't have any problems at all. I just hate that it's located in A bad area of town. Some people just like to be in a quite safe place not everybody likes problems or likes to do the most..

when we checked in, the receptionist wasn’t the kindest to us, hardly said anything. we walk to our hotel & are unable to open it so we call the office & she rudely tells us we deactivated the keycard by putting it next to my phone. she definitely could’ve communicated better w us, we did not know that could happen. we also had neighbors bothering us almost our entire stay & the office didn’t do much other than tell them it was late since they were talking outside our room. they would knock every night on our door despite us telling them to stop.

I'm appreciative that the hotel did let us know by a sign posted that the hot water would take some time. But after being on a softball field & a long drive.. All you want is a hot shower. Other than that, hotel staff friendly, including the cleaning ladies.. and the convenience of the hotel is great. Other than that, one tiny complaint...it's a great location, friendly staff & safe place for even a single parent & child.

I respect what they are, I'll give you respect and courtesy. If something's not right, they always will try to make it right with you and like that.

The only thing I don't think they do is that you know if they got all those rooms. I don't know why they'll make some be non. Spoken rooms subject sometimes sometimes it's cold outside and people wantna get-app-and-go outside for anything. So I don't know why they don't just don't make some of those rooms. Smoking rooms and some non-smoking rooms like the downstairs could be non. Smoking rooms and upstairs can be smoking rooms.

I want to make sure that management knows how lucky they are to have such a friendly and hardworking staff. My husband and I from the first day of check in had a positive and welcoming experience. Charmayne at the front counter is very helpful and patient with any issue we had. We were also fortunate to meet Mr. Augustine the maintenance man who was very friendly and polite. We noticed even on short staff days housekeepers were keeping busy and doing their best to make sure rooms were being taken care of. We will be back sooner than later and definitely let family and friends know that Super 8 is a dependable place to stay.

The only thing that could have made the stay better was if the pool was up and running, we did notice that it was being matienance and was assured by Mr. Agustine that the property was working on getting it up and going.

I love everything about your Hotel it's peaceful & so quiet your hotel will be the only place I would go I really appreciate everything especially my stays there Thank you for everything hopefully i will be back soon 😊

Nice room with a big and comfy bed. Clean clean, fridge, microwave, nice shower, nice and enough towels, quiet enough for a good night sleep, plenty of parking and in the city, in&out Berger and McDonald’s a minute away walking, quick access to hwy 101 and at a good rate

Clean, comfortable, nice pool, good service! We had a small issue but a manager sorted it out very swiftly and efficiently in a friendly manner until everything was satisfactory! Have seldom experienced that level of service at any hotel!

Your staff was exceptional! Helpful, patient, courteous, etc. I have no complaints. Whatever you are doing keep doing it. 🥰💐

The bathroom door is too close to knees when seated to use the toilet. I know there isn’t really anything you can do about that.
