We've stayed here several times while visiting our child, who attends nearby CSUMB. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The beds are very comfortable, which is something I rarely say about hotel beds. Breakfast is standard fare, nothing remarkable. The water and coffee available in the lobby is a nice benefit.

The facility is starting to show it's age and could use sone TLC. The door to the barhroom wouldn't close without significant force and the shower splashed water onto the floor next to the toilet. Grab bars in the shower would be appreciated since it's such a high sided tub to step into. The ice machine on our floor was out of order and the carpets need to be refreshed.

King suite was large, clean, sitting area, table and two chairs. No view. Small kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave. The bedroom needs a ceiling fan because air-conditioning does not reach that far. Great location. Marina Beach down the street.

Breakfast room to small for size of hotel. Our room was next to laundry. I asked about noise and was told it would be locked from 9 pm to 8 am. However, at 6:30 a.m., someone was using it and woke us up. Let the front desk know, but no one followed up. Next evening, I checked the door and it was unlocked, so I locked it.

The king suite is a great size. We have 2 boys, 3 and 5, both with autism, and its nice to have a large space with a little separation, 2 tvs, a sofa that turns into a bed. Staff is great. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Awesome location with a walmart nearby which is useful because I always forget something like beach towels, sunscreen, etc

The breakfast was very satisfying. I like having the lemon water and coffee available in the hotel lobby. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is away from the business district which I liked.

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps a mattress cushion would be nice.

Quiet. Good comp breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking near the entrance made it easy to load and unload luggage. Within walking distance to nearby beach. Restaurants and shopping nearby.

High room cost and added fees , over $300 per night for small king suite. Gave me a handicapped room with sliding bathroom door that was hard to open and close.

The staff was friendly but not overbearing. The room was very spacious, recently updated, great value! It was kinda nice being a little ways away from Cannery Row and all that chaos, made for a very relaxing retreat.

Nothing that I didn’t really like.

Proximity to beach AND to restaurants. Requested and received a ground-floor room so we could get to the car easily.

Light sources on all night, especially the pilot light for the light switch next to the sink, and the clock on the microwave.

Staff was excellent, free breakfast was filling, nestled away in quiet area...

Water pressure was low in the shower the first day, but it got better...sauna is nice, but how about a pool or hot tub too ? :-D Maybe expand breakfast an hour, esp. on Sundays and holidaze.

The hostess was very welcoming at check-in. The bed was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. There were a variety of opinions to choose from.

There was nothing I didn't like.
