The complimentary breakfast was definitely the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The rooms were very stylish and functional. It was also helpful having a mini convenience store in-house. Free parking always a plus.

Only complaints are that the mattresses weren't very comfortable and the pillows were a bit too small. If I'm being super critical, the shower seemed to be set up backwards with the faucet opposite the controls.

Quiet location, Double room is very roomy and clean. It also included a work desk, great for business use. I came here to take exam at Cal State and this hotel is less than 5 mins from it! Perfect location if you need to visit Cal State. Room also included breakfast with good choices and good quality.

Not a perfect location if you plan to visit Monterey. It's not close to downtown, roughly ~15 mins drive. The location is remote and not close to any big plaza.

Buffet was nice

There were half drunk bottles of water in fridge. There was a Marriott courtyard card left on the floor of the room. There was a wet floor in the elevator.

The breakfast options were tasty and plentiful. Staff was accommodating. Room was comfortable. Convenient location for Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz events.

Stated 5 nights - would have liked more housekeeping service but maybe policy was “as requested” and we didn’t request it.

Convenience to event and close to shops

We were told the wrong time for breakfast on Friday night When asked if we could have our room cleaned on Saturday morning, it was met with hesitation

Vagrants in the area lingering and spooked me when going to my car at 11:00 pm - I’m a female and felt unsafe although the area is very nice and clean

Love da staff an how prompt all of my request was taken care of , I was there for hospital visit , a sad time to be in Monterey. But your area of hospitality made it very easy to cope with my situation, especially that I was alone . Thank you again , will be returning for da funeral an will ask for your help again , much ❤️

Entrance to the property is confusing and not clearly marked. Lots of construction going on at the time.
