The hotel is in a beautiful setting right on the beach. So calm and beautiful sea. We loved the boat trip organised by the hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful and a really relaxed vibe throughout. The sea is beautiful (agree with others about the plastic though completely not the fault of the hotel). Not sure why people are bothered by the seaweed….just jump over and the sea is right there! Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Overall we had a great stay. A few tiny things….The shared toilets (used for the camping rooms) probably need refurbishing or more toilets for the number of people using them. The food was ok though could improve by being more simple and more fresh ingredients (understand the location makes it tricky). Would have loved to see more encouragement to support the local environment (perhaps some beach cleanup bins etc).

This is truly a little piece of paradise if you are willing to do the drive, since it's long and hard. But once you get here it is a diamond. The room was not big but enough for us, the shower was big and the beds were comfortable. The beach is beautiful and peaceful. My kids spent hours playing in the sand. We took a boat ride from the hotel crew to see dolphins and snorkel. The staff was nice and welcoming and happy hour margaritas were perfect.

Nothing really. We only wish there was a kettle or a coffee machine since we are early risers and the breakfast is available at 8. Also, it would have been nice to have more traditional Mexican food in the restaurant, but we found it in the village.

The place is simply incredible. The view is amazing, as well as everything provided by the hostel (food, equipment etc). We took the boat tour to see the animals and it was one of the best experiences. It is a unique experience and maybe the best I ever had so far traveling.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but good to know: The hotel beach is very clean. However the reserve itself is very polluted. As soon as you leave the hotel beach you see plastic waste everywhere. The drive to the hotel from Tulum is 3 hours (not 1.5 like google map will tell you). Weather forecast is also a good idea to check because the rain will make the drive much much harder, especially if your car is low. And checkin to the hotel finishes at 10pm so leave early.

The stay at Cielo y Selva was absolutely amazing. The beachside location is stunning, though the road to get there is quite rugged. However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.

It's a whole adventure to get to Punta Allen and of course the hotel, I really would like to say it was worth it but I was very disappointed on the amount of seaweed they have on the hotel beach. I understand it is completely out of their control. Nature is unpredictable. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Food is delicious because they have a great chef. I hope I can come back when it's not seaweed season... It's a great place to disconnect.

The property's serene location, well-kept grounds, and peaceful isolation were absolutely wonderful. The cleanliness of the bed and sheets was impeccable, and we are immensely grateful for the hard work of the cleaners, especially given the circumstances. After falling ill with a stomach bug on the second night of our stay and experiencing multiple episodes of vomiting, their efforts were truly appreciated. We made sure to leave an extra tip as a token of our gratitude. Thank you to the cleaners - you are the true heroes of this hotel!

While our stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, there were a few issues we encountered. Our door key got stuck twice, which was inconvenient, but we understand that these things happen. Additionally, we noticed that the bathroom sink and shower did not drain well, suggesting that the plumbing system may need some maintenance. Regarding the hotel restaurant, while the food was good, we were surprised to find mostly Asian dishes on the menu. Given that we were in Mexico, we had hoped to sample more local Mexican cuisine, especially since many restaurants in town were closed most evenings. Overall, we appreciate our stay and understand that there may be areas for improvement. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

My stay at Cielo y Selva was paradise, the perfect little break from my busy life. I was able to slow down and take in the nature.

The only negativity was the process of getting to the hotel as the transfers were not very comfortable or straight forward. Once getting to the dock form the boat there were no signs or instructions how to get to the hotel, and the sandy roads are not ideal for suitcases. I think if Cielo y Selva offered a pick up service from the dock this would eliminate the stress or getting there.

This place is AMAZING! Yes, it does take some time to drive there and it is bumpy but what a beautiful drive it is and so worth it. You will be far from the tourist madness, deconnected from the world in a dreamy place. The views are breathtaking, the staff is so nice and caring, the glamping pods have plugs, are super comfy and clean (like seriously, I have no idea how they manage to clean the sand away so well, it was so clean). You fall asleep with the waves and wake up with the birds singing. The food was very fresh and delicious, especially their agua frescas. Of course do not expect super high pressure showers etc. It is remote and still a glamping, not a hotel. But do go, and stay 2-3 nights, we regretted only having one.

The location of this hotel is soo pretty. It was like paradise. The beach was magical! We also loved we could walk into the city. We stayed in the small house, and everything worked, bed was comfortable. The staff was very sweet, and we also booked a great boat tour through the hotel. We had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and food was good too!

I think the few things we didn’t like, was outweighed by the benefits of it missing. Like no A/C which meant it was very hot and night, but quiet. Room was a little small, but it meant the property of the hotel didn’t feel crowded. So nothing really negative.

A nice location and really quite location to listen to the waves crashing at the shore. Everything is kept clean, eventhough toilets and showers are shared. Possibility to eat at the tables on the beach and in the evening it's magical with several lights lit around.

2nd night one of the property dogs (but he qas really sweet) woke us up by entering our tent and insisted to stay, and after efforts to push him out kept coming back to push at the zips to open the mosquitoe net, which forced to close the tent completely. The way to get to glamping took a lot of time because of the road condition.
