It’s on the ocean and had fast WiFi.

Old buildings, not the cleanest. Thinnest towels ever. Food below average. VERY noisy the night we stayed. Neighbors played techno music from 7pm-2am. Staff said sorry we booked on a night of fiesta celebration but would do nothing about it. Got zero sleep. Windows vibrated all night. I’m not exaggerating.

Loved this Art Deco Hotel with so much art everywhere. The Room was ok with a big comfortable firm bed. Netflix & Amazon Prime but didn't use. Staff were friendly. Nice location overlooking the water,beach not really for swimming,but nice view. Small pool but ok for cooling off.nice relaxing seating around pool. Basic but nice Restaurant with Filipino and Western dishes. 5 min tricycle ride to Cuartel Ruins and The Lady of Immaculate Conception Church,both are must visits here. 8 min tricycle ride to Gaisano Grand Mall and the Oslob to Panglao/Bohol ferry.

The shower pressure was low and water was cool not hot. The room was road side and the noise from the busy road sometimes woke you up with noisy trikes at night and big trucks and buses early am,earplugs needed if light sleeper. Only 1 hanger for clothing but nothing major.

We liked that it was right on the ocean. There were stairs as well as a slide that you could use to go in the water when it’s high tide. Nice cool breeze all day and night that you can enjoy from the dining and sitting areas. Rooms were clean, and there were bath towels, hand towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap and toothpaste supplies. Beds were comfortable- an actual mattress on a box spring.

If you book a room that faces the street, it is very loud. The buses and other vehicles keep you up all night.

Location is right on the seafront has access to the sea from the terrace. Quirky place, plenty of lounging areas, food and drinks available. Staff and owner very approachable, friendly and helpful. In many respects it took me back to how travelling was in the 90's you would come across these little gems that you really liked and could stay for months. There's a pool, there's massage available, motorbike hire too, some rooms have sea views, some are road side facing. I found the rooms clean, tidy and the beds are very comfortable, big too, great for romantic breaks. We liked it so much we booked an extra night. Ideal base for the Whale Shark visit, bus from Cebu stops right outside if you ask the conductor. Oslob has plenty of eating places so these are a short ten minute walk away.

It's a very reasonably priced place, sure there's a few things that need doing, however nothing that detracts from you enjoying your stay, it's all there. Depends on what you expect, I would rather have clean, tidy and comfortable on my list, rather than the latest designer chic fashion fad.

The staff were excellent, help arrange scuba with whale sharks, were friendly and extremely helpful in assisting me when I booked the room for the wrong night. Room was very clean as was the property. The ladies working there are this hotels greatest asset.

Ridiculous charging you for drinking water even if it was only 1 peso, just a very strange thing and very very inconvenient. Only place anywhere in the Phillipines. Must be some kind of german or euro thing, save the planet, who knows but very bizarre. Not really sure how 1 peso saves the planet or whatever.

Saschas Resort was amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.. The scenery is beautiful and quiet. The food was perfect and suited my family and I. Even with 2 very picky eaters , they accommodated us and our needs. From the ocean view to the pool, games provided and scooter hire , I found Saschas resort as a new second home for my family and I too travel too. Highly recommend. Saschas resort is in close proximity too 7/11 and the swimming with the whales and also transfers to Sumilon Island to go snorkelling on the coral reef. To the Owners and staff, thank you for an amazing experience and holiday at Saschas resort and we will see you next time.

We loved everything about the property and the staff.

The place was great. The amenities was beyond our expectations. Very spacious room and the bed was good, we really had a great rest. You don;t have to worry about access to necessities because they have a mini store, if you forgot to buy toothpaste or your soap. Hehe. Oh, they have this stair that is direct to the sea, so when it gets high tide you can just walk to it and swim, then they also have a slide. Your kids will definitely love it there, they also have a pool.

Since, we are a group, we would opt to have rooms that will have refrigerators so we can store the foods that we brought, you know, like some fruits, and chocolates to eat while on vacation. But, we were able to store our food in their ffridge naman hehe.

Lights not working and too bright, no lamp Plug sockets in awkward places The shower had hair in it and open toothpaste left. Pool water not very clean No where to hang anything Quiet location, not many places to eat and bit many people about.

The rooms were lovely, very clean and spacious. This was the only room we’ve stayed in during our month long stay in the Philippines that had a bed side table and lamp!! The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was also perfect for us - not too close to the noise of the very centre but close enough to walk everywhere. The pool is lovely - I’m unsure as to why so many reviews mention that it is only good for children as we are 27 and 32 and very much enjoyed relaxing in the pool after a day of exploring.

This is the first place in the Philippines where we have had to pay to fill up our water bottles. It did not cost a lot however we were surprised as all other hotels we have stayed in have had free water for guests.

Don't believe the poor reviews. This is hands down the best resort we have been for its price. You can get a very private seaside balcony room with a breathtaking view, really good wifi (despite reviews, it is quite reliable), and decent food at such a good price. I absolutely love the staircase that leads straight into the water, because I hate getting sand on my feet. There is a portion of the beach that has been cleared out of seaweed and other debris where you can swim and wade in peace and enjoy the fine sand on your toes. There is a kiddie pool for where you want to leave your kids to swim around in a safe area, and lots of places to bask under the sun and feel the wind. I especially love that second story hut with the swings and the umbrellas on the roof. The staff are super friendly, and very accommodating. The many paintings that adorn the whole resort give it such a quirky, eclectic feel and I am here for it. Definitely will come back again. Thank you so much for having us!

They don't have a smart TV, but there is decent cable. Could use a few more channels, but honestly we're there for the beach and the good view anyway.
