My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised on every level. This hotel is FABULOUS!!! Getting there was too easy. Private parking on site. The hotel is an amazing location with lots of chairs along the lake so that you can sit wherever you’d like. You can literally step into the lake or swim in their gorgeous (and super clean) lake front pool. The staff was super courteous. We laughed when they would walk by singing and whistling. It might seem like a small thing, but people notice this stuff. Everyone was just super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The cleaning service was wonderful, too. Those maids really clean your room and make it up nicely. Also - I would be remiss if we didn’t mention the food here! The breakfast is absolutely incredible and the lunch/dinner options at the hotel are also fantastic. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and fries, thinking it would be the quality of some average restaurant. However, I was shocked at how delicious and consistent the quality of the food was. The sandwich was absolutely great and even the French fries were wonderful!! My husband and I loved trying some of the Michelin rated restaurants on Lake Garda, but were so grateful to come back to the Villa Capri because it had delicious food with generous portions that didn’t break our wallet. Moreover, the waiters always had a smile on their face and were pleasant to us. I also want to give a shout out to the grounds crew. The gardens and grass always looked perfect. Just an all around perfect stay. Thank you so much to the entire staff at the Hotel Villa Capri…keep up the great work!!

Shower was a little small for Americans…wish it had been wider, but still great!

Very friendly staff. We also liked the lunch menu from 12.30 till 15.00, food was good. The view from the room was very beautiful. Rooms was very clean. They have heated pool, very good if you come here with kids.

In my personal opinion breakfast was not good. Maybe it's fine if you stay here for a weekend, But if you stay longer it is almost the same every day, and all day menu also was mediocre. I didn't like that they allow customers to smoke in balconies.

Beautiful hotel by the lake, near Gardone Riviera and Salò. Good parking. Spacious room with a good balcony, with lake view. Beautiful and pleasant garden. Very good breakfast (which you can have by the lake).

I believe it could have more leisure options, like a small gym or a heated pool. The room was very good, but the decoration (including the bathroom) could be improved.

The hotel location was superb as looked directly over the lake. Lovely grounds, very well maintained with plenty of sunbeds around pool area. Hotel within easy walk of a range of restaurants. Free car parking at front of hotel.

Facilities were superb . Full breakfast choices . the pool was lovely and clean .

The only thing we didn't like was other guests putting towels in the sunbeds and then not occupying them until later in the day .

We have been nice to have more vegan or vegetarian options in the menu. You cannot order pasta for dinner. Breakfast could have been better. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy.

If you are staying near Lake Garda this is a great hotel to base yourself at. On site parking is a huge bonus for us. Located right on the waters edge, taking breakfast in the morning as the sun glints off the lake is a sublime experience we will never forget..and the breakfast is great. The pool is well maintained and there are plenty of sun chairs for you to while away the hours with a cocktail.

Beautiful lakeside location, offering a swimming pool and access to the lake. Sumptuous breakfast, served outside if wished. Very friendly and helpful staff. Though there isn't a restaurant service in the evening, you can order substantial 'snacks' from the bar until 7.30.

The hotel could do with brushing up on its environmental credentials: towels and pillow cases were changed daily and bedding every other day - very luxurious, but not good for the planet!

No robes in the rooms, which usually come standard at the price we were paying per night. We were advised we could have a robe for an extra 5 euros 😏

Everything. The staff, the food, the facilities, the garden, the pool were all amazing. The views, especially from our balcony and the balcony by the lake, were mesmerising. Holiday of a lifetime!

The bed was too hard for my liking however, this is the only thing I could think of that wasn't perfect.
