We stayed in a studio spa suite and I am quite surprised at how spacious it is with high raked ceilings and the room is very very neat and clean! Like 10 stars clean! I did not expect the kitchenette (and more so very well-equipped!) so that was quite a nice surprise. The very large balcony as well was also a nice surprise. The room furnishings may be quite outdated but it doesn't take away from the lovely stay at Abbey. In the studio, you have all the basics to feel like you are home away from home. The entire resort is very lovely and has a grand structure and feel to it. The grounds are very beautiful too. We enjoyed all 3 pools! We have stayed in the other resorts in the area and Abbey would be one of our best stays. The resort has seen better days but I hope it will continue to flourish as we would love to come back again and again.

- I am surprise that basics such as toothpaste, toothbrush, and hotel slippers are not provided. - No water bottles in the fridge. - Staff don't seem very helpful. - No buffet breakfast

Facilities & maintenance were helpful & quick to assist with internet issues.

We had a meal in the restaurant-10 people. 2 of the family ordered the fillet steak& prawns & asked for it medium but was well over cooked & unfortunately they were last to get their meals. All other family were finished eating. I was surprised no offer of a free drink etc or discount on their meals was offered considening how long it took for meals to arrive.. We did order 2 other meals & paid for them. Only 2 girls serving & they were trying their best to cope with patrons. They were nearly run off their feet serving food, drinks, & taking orders. Probably would not order at the restaurant again. I do think fans or split system in bedrooms are needed when hot weather is here.

Great location. Hotel is very tired and dated, but still lovely and comfortable- my go to every time I'm in Busselton. The small art gallery in the foyer is a great little addition, and staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Parking bays are tight, though there is plenty so not too much of a problem. On site restaurant staff were overwhelmed at breakfast, reportedly due to having extra guests the night before. It took 25 minutes for a black coffee and meals were upwards of an hour, with only 4 tables inside occupied. Would suggest that if a venue has the capacity for 40, they might consider retaining enough staff to feed them.

I booked this last minute for the bank holiday weekend. Beautiful resort inside and out. We had a beach front room which was a 3 minute walk onto a beach, we watched the sunset here for the 2 nights we stayed. My nephew who is 7 loved the indoor and outdoor pools and took full advantage of the lovely greenery area for games, he even played on the tennis court. Location to Busselton was amazing a 12miniute drive. Staff where amazing very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, well equipped for the 2 day stay. We will definitely be back

We stayed at Abbey Beach Resort in Busselton for one night, and it was a pleasant experience. The resort is well-maintained, with beautiful grounds and easy access to the beach. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a short stay. The location is excellent, as it’s close to Busselton’s main attractions, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made check-in and check-out seamless. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Busselton.

The location was perfect, We loved that there was a pool to one side and opposite to it, a short walk to the beach. Best of both. The apartment we stayed at was spacious, comfortable, had the basic amenities, beds were comfortable and smelt clean. The whole place was clean. My family with 3 kids all enjoyed the ambience and the feel of the place. Will definitely be coming back.

The breakfast buffet was honestly disappointing. It was the bear minimum and basic food. Would have appreciated the tea/coffee being included in the breakfast price. The gym was also bear minimum

The location was great the place was nice and clean. The was good.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough staff in the restaurant. We waited an hour before receiving anything even water which we had asked for. The staff member forgot to put our order in, he lacked customer service and experience. When eventually the food arrived most of it was nice. Also 9pm everything is closed a bit early for a Resort. The place was clean and tidy but is a bit dated and needs a bit of an upgrade.

Everything

The room we stayed in when you let the water out of the spar it start to come up through the shower and the shower leaks and water goes everywhere. Which becomes a concern as there are no drain in the bathroom or kitchen. When looking at things in the bathroom you can see that this has been an ongoing problem as the door frame has rust and the vanity you can see that has water damage. Also your cleaner need to clean the outside of the toilet bowl. As I am a cleaner I noticed the dust and pee

Room was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was ready. Room presentation was above and beyond, was met with locally made chocolate and champagne for my partners birthday. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are good.

Only 2 things were a slight let down. The amount of green algae in the lower pond spoils some photo opportunities. We ordered dinner at the restaurant, steak was slightly overcooked and relatively flavourless. The duck was excellent.

Big and comfortable space for large group.

Both the rooms we booked were located in different blocks creating inconvenience for a big group like us travelling together. The kitchen and the indoor pool were about to close when we arrived so we had to rush things. We had to order food from outside and there was a problem with the parking as well as few guests staying there were claiming the parking to be theirs even though we weren't told anything about it at the reception nor were there any signs of parking allocation
