Was really good, staff wonderful, they are doing a lot to the place, and we really liked the one b/rm villa, But, 2 cups etc., not enough definitely need 4 , we had friends coming for afternoon tea, only 2 cups, 2 places, and a washing up bowl would be good, as the sink is big. Definitely recommend the Motel for sure. Kerry in reception is so nice, (thanks Kerry for the extra coffee pods, great coffee.) Also that is locked up at night very good.

The outside BBQ area is great but needs upgrading and cleaning a bit more. In our villa there wasn't any pictures on the lounge room walls, yet one in the bedroom, that would have been nice.

the location was great. The room was perfect and everything was easily accessible and appropriate. There was limited kitchen items, but ability to get more was as easy as a phone call to the office. The entrance and exit was great, with added security and being able to park right at the front door was excellent.

The bed was a little harder than what we are used to. Not something that can necessarily be fixed but the whole three days, the party next door would leave at 5 or 6am, slam their door, continue talking as is no one was around, and then to top things off would set off their car alarm each morning (assuming their car remote wasn't working so using the key sets off the alarm until the engine is started).

For the price in this area this property was excellent. The room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. The location is awesome There are no pool or playgrounds for kids but given both are available within a short walk to the foreshore it is not at all necessary. BBQ facilities available for free and laundry facilities at a modest price - we made use of both. The best asset of this place is their staff; they were all so friendly and willing to be helpful; nothing was too much bother. Thank you for a great stay that exceeded our expectations!

The room was very clean. Bed was comfy. Has everything we need, including microwave, toaster, hair dryer, and kettle. Parking is right in front of the room. There's also a bbq area that is free of charge to use. It comes with a boom gate, which we were given a key for. Good location as well, only 3min drive to the Busselton jetty.

Probably nothing can be changed by the motel, but there's a lot of bugs inside and outside the rooms. Especially at night, mainly at the door and the room ceiling. Mainly due to the hot weather

Gale St Motel offers a comfortable and hospitable environment , Chris who has been on Reception for many years always welcomes all visitors with such a cheerful and helpful service. Having stayed at the motel often during the past decade my family and I have always felt the service and amenities have always offered a pleasant atmosphere and have often enjoyed staying in the villas which cater so well for families and or individuals offering additional fully self contained facilities which creates a'home away from home' practical environment. As I have recently moved into a new home in the Busselton region I tend to promote Gale St Motel and if I need to book accomodation for friends/and or colleagues I can rely on Chris and team as they continue to provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy a convenient and pleasant stay.

The location is super near to the centre and convenient. The villas and the room is clean. Especially when I email to the Motel that I'm checking in with my family and wheelchair mother, the staff purposely arrange us to stay next to each other, so that we can easily take care of our wheelchair mother.

The handing clothes area might need to be clean up as we saw spider web over there. If can combine 2 villas together with a door in between will be better as it will be good for a bigger family to stay in together.

The Receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, bed comfy, shower hot with great water pressure. Good location, only a short walk down to the foreshore.

One small thing was the light right outside our room (not sure if all rooms have lights outside the door) but it attracted insects inside. Not sure how long it stayed on for, we fell asleep. But lights are needed, and insects can't be avoided so all good.

location was key for us. close to beach and main shopping area. easy walking to all. our little apartment was all that we needed. clean and tidy, staff were helpful, polite and great communication when we forgot personal items in room and departure.

the pull-down blinds although great for privacy were a real nuisance to put up and down. large blind on entry exit door made it difficult to get in or out. the plantation shutters also difficult to keep closed

Plenty of rooms for your bags on both sides of the bed. Amazing to have 2 power points on each bedside (for charging phones etc). Location of the lights are perfect, with the 2 dimmer lights above the beds (1 for each person) ! The air con was amazingly quiet during the night, a big bonus as well !

Only minor, a tea towel rail would have been nice in the kitchenette area and a small stool in the bathroom to put your clothes on after a shower.

I wouldn't say any motel in Australia is a romantic place to stay anymore since the housing crisis has destroyed people's lives, as they are now living in these rooms, which were once suited for romantic couples. I would recommend they stay in their mommy's and daddy's air bnb they won't rent out to help with more homes.
