we were given an upgrade on arrival to a larger unit. No spa bath or outdoor decking, but we don't usually use a spa and the weather was very cold. so the larger living space was welcome! location was excellent, in the main street but back from the road. Very close to shops, cafes and beach. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was well equipped with dining and cooking facilities, good comfy bed, and the a/c warmed the space very well as temps were cold. La Lah cafe across the street was excellent. There is a good undercover swimming pool and sauna which we didnt use, but looked nice/

Location was amazing. Walking distance to everything in town and just across from the beach. We couldn't fault it. And would definitely return. The loft area upstairs for the kids to sleep was a really great size, and we loved the feel of the village over all. It was great to be able to let the kids run around on the grass and make friends with other kids staying there too. House is a good size and layout. A great beachside holiday spot. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked another house in the same village for some family members to stay. We paid the same price for both houses, however one was renovated, with air-conditioning in every room, a lovely new kitchen and a dishwasher. The other house only had air-conditioning in the main living and no dishwasher and was a little tired in comparison. We didn't mind at all as it was still a great little family holiday. It was more the fact that both houses cost the same to rent out, even though one definitely stood out as a better house.

The property seemed freshly renovated. Furniture was good, kitchen appliances in excellent condition (with even a Nespresso Vertuo). Laundry and dryer fast and worked well. Bedroom sheets and towels were good quality and no stains or signs of over use. Very good value for money.

The internet was not great, as we needed to work from there we needed to hotspot from our mobile network. Even to watch TV streaming internet has left us down at points. The mains bedroom mattress was too soft to my taste.

Location was perfect. Size of place was excellent. So clean when we arrived and all in order

Car park situation was lousy. Was told to park in driveway but reading the notes our apartment had to park in the reception area. As there were people in either apartments next to us so we couldn't fit. The problem was the closest reception was always full and we had to park at the back with a baby made it difficult. The pipes or water was constantly going off on our second night making it hard to get a full night sleep. It was all hours of the morning and the noise was as long as 15 minutes at a time.

Great location and well maintained unit and complex

The sauna either doesn't have a big enough heater installed for its size or the timer kept turning it off before it could hest up enough. Wasted an hiur with no sweat. The walls between units were too thin and allowed for alot of noise to transfer through, which was an issue for getting to sleep while the neighbours were up late using their spa and watching TV etc

Villa was spacious very clean and well appointed. Central location is super convenient. Jess at the office was lovely, super helpful and friendly. I arranged a late checkout through the Booking.com app and got a positive reply, but it was not actually relayed back to Bay Village. They knew nothing about it till they called me after the usual checkout time to check where our key was. Fortunately they were still able to accommodate our request and didn't make us feel like it was a problem.

Parking is a bit limited. Villas are designed to be able to be separated into 3 separate accommodations or combined in various combinations, which is a great idea. But at first we were confused because it looked like someone was already in our villa. Queen size bed, not king-size. I arranged a late checkout through the Booking.com app and got a positive reply, but it was not actually relayed back to Bay Village. They knew nothing about it till they called me after the usual checkout time to check where our key was. Fortunately, they were still able to accommodate our request and didn't make us feel like it was a problem.

Location is fantastic. Clean rooms, easy check in and out. Well appointed rooms. Spa bath.

1) No car park for this villa, parking is “first come first served” at the front of the property, a distance away from the villa. This needs to be addressed as when you pay the extra costs for a villa, there is an expectation that there will be parking at the villa. This is important for rainy weather, or bringing in groceries/purchases. 2) Spa bath needs a safety step to get in and out, particularly as the shower is in the spa. This is a hazard for older guests particularly.

The property is in a great location and the villas we had were excellent as we had all 3 rooms. It was fantastic that all bedrooms had great sized bathroom and full spa facilities and there was a communal bathroom as well. The beds were very comfortable.

The shower head in our bathroom was only just manageable as it constantly fell down and you had to reposition it. When the shower was on it only just stayed in place, so we didn't have to complain at the time and get someone to fix to have a shower, however, it really should be fixed. The pool was also not available while we were there and we were informed before our visit however, we were not offered any discounts on what is a very expensive villa for 4 nights.

Location, bed, kitchen facilities, air con, parking. smack bang in the middle of town so you can walk to Tas's bakery, cafes, peko peko, coles, etc in a couple mins. Bay Village is prime Dunsborough location. 10-15mins from all the best beaches for surfing/relaxing. 10-15mins from all the great wineries and breweries. Pourhouse and La Lah's (cafes) literally a 1-2min walk. You can also call up 'The Wave' if you want a free lift to Caves House for drinks on the weekend.

Shower temperature was either extremely hot or extremely cold - even when we tried to move the tap 1mm left/right. This only happened in 40C this time - we previously stayed in a different room and didn't have this issue at all. We would still stay here again because we love it so much.

Maz from reception, re booking, arrival and during our stay was amazing! Any queries, needed anything (portable cot) was only too happy to help. Excellent customer service!!! Goes along way. The accommodation suited our needs and was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was supplied. Location to town centre, excellent. Definitely a return trip on the cards!!!
