Location in town great. Very friendly staff, cleanliness, always asking us if we wished the room to be made up unobtrusively Excellent food in the tavern and the Thursday night Triva fun and fully packed. Next to Dan Murphy. Beach very close.

The stairs 16 of them going up and down for a healthy 80-year-old was not expected, and the friend we took with us immediately hated what she saw, younger than us, who and did everything in her power to stress us. We continued. There was a hiccup as I call it. Management was great to help in any way and exceeded all expectations. It's not the Hilton but great for what we paid. I recommend you tell others about the stairs, maybe suitable for younger people. Ten apartments but one for disabled. Pool area good but water cold and no spa but beach very close

These are great rooms (WITH STAIRS) and a big Bedroom with fabulous King size bed. And Balcony. It's a separate entity to The Ship Inn. So no Room Service etc. But the Pub is just next door. Where you can get good Pub meals. Steph on Reception is always extremely helpful and lovely. And there's a full Kitchen down stairs. Great Pub atmosphere. Centre of Town.

There is no alternative to the AirCon (which I feel is wasteful, unless it's SO HOT!) other than opening the door to the balcony. Which has no latch. Just a thought if they ever re-design the rooms....incorporate some opening Windows! And/Or a ceiling fan. The TINY bathroom basin has NO area around it, to place anything. I've stayed many times here, and now I've got to say the Bathrooms need to be updated. Just a suggestion.

Lovely little place. I was worried with it being next to the hotel and bottle shop, but it was nice and quiet. Very clean, modern room with everything we needed and in a good spot. The pool was great but cold! The room had the main bed upstairs along with the bathroom, and the kitchen/living area downstairs. Our son used the pull out lounge down there to sleep on. There was a tv and aircon on both levels. Would definitely recommend.

The only downside was that there was no dryer after I washed our clothes. We had bad weather, so I had to hang our clothes in front of the air conditioner to try and dry them. Other than this, we had all that we needed.

Location was excellent , walking distance to main streets and restaurants a bonus. Also handy to have a Dan Murphys next door. The hotel venue restaurant and beer garden at the Ship Inn excellent with great food and drinks! A private and quiet accommodation.

The wooden stairs in our one bedroom unit were narrow and slippery! Not everyone would be capable of navigating them safely and I think this should be included in their description of rooms.

The cleaner was lovely. The bed was very comfortable but I rang ahead to ask for twin beds and they said they would arrange it but didn’t. Then when we arrived I rang reception who said they would again arrange it and we still had a king bed the whole time. Also when we checked in we were told they did room service and when we rang to have something delivered they said they didn’t do room service??

The clean was lovely and the place was nice and clean and had everything that we needed.

The Ship Inn is close to supermarket and centre of town. Easy flat walk to town centre and jetty foreshore area. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Very little to low overnight noise from nearby roads. Internal stairs may be awkward for those with bad knees, or unsteady on their feet. Kitchenette and laundry facilities in the room were more than adequate.

No complaints about the accommodation

Lovely bright room & balcony. Nice clean pool, close to restaurants & cafes.

Alas the bed springs are sagging ended up with back pain after 2 sleeps, bathroom sink moves & is in the way of the toilet, so an accident waiting as I held the sink to get up, plumbing too was poor as water was very slow to go & ceiling fan didn't work in Bathroom. Needs some TLC

The location is excellent within walking distance to all shops and lots of restaurants Most comfortable bed i have ever found in a hotel

The very steep stairs. This would be a serious concern for anyone with mobility or balance issues The bathroom is very tiny as well with the vanity protruding into the space for the toilet and shower

Lovely rooms over 2 floors. Spacious and well appointed comfortable furniture and bed. Proper kitchen. Quiet even though we faced the road. Balcony was good. Washing machine, with washing liquid provided was very useful.

Bathroom was small, stairs steep, had to be careful going up and down
