very comfortable mattress and very clean room + good breakfast + helpful and kind staff

for a 100euro X night room, i was expecting for a bit more - There is no coffee machine , no cattle (we asked and got one), no tea bags, no mini fridge, no free coffee, not even a sitting table (just a very tinny desk + 1 chair). The A/C was broken but we got heater. In addition, the parking is very costly (15Euro per day) and no one from the staff, bothered to remind me about this extra payment (i forgot all about it...)

The setting is a bit unusual, in a newly built block of apartments, and in fact the roons are also apartments, well designed and with a smart gallery reachable with a steep staircase with beds for kids. While this makes a total of 30 m^2, the base size of the apartment is relatively small. A good restaurant is attached and the bar was open until late at night and the personnel very friebdly; parking is also available for free 100 m away.

Of course, the locattion is pretty far away from Berlin city center. During the weekend, no problem with a car and fast, during weekdays a lot of commuting traffic makes the car ride slow. We did not try public transportation.

A lot of trouble has been taken with Grimms: everywhere one turns there is a reminder of his various characters. Fortunately, beyond that there is a good hotel lurking, and staff making it all work. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable, and it was good to wake up the next morning to birdsong, including a cuckoo!

Parking on arrival is not obvious, and booking.com might well add a simple instruction into their bookings system.

Very comfortable room, plenty of space. We were at end of hall on first floor, was very quiet. We only had breakfast there some of our mornings but it was very good with many options. Secure parking. Great location for us given our planned activities in the area. Short walk to some other restaurants if one desires. The fairy tale theme is a nice touch.

Wonderful staff, a great range of food at the breakfast buffet and very nice menu in the evening We had an excellent room with fairy tale themed decoration, very clean. We would very happily stay here again. It's also a convenient short walk to the station and around 25 minutes on the train into the centre of Berlin.

Difficult to find where they could improve, perhaps tea/coffee making facilities in the room but our other German hotel didn't have these either so perhaps it's not common in Germany.

Great communication from the start - we got all the important info beforehand which was very helpful. Courteous and friendly staff. A modern hotel that plays with the fairy-tale related name in a fun way. We had the family room which we loved - with one sleeping downstairs and the other one sleeping upstairs. Breakfast was buffet-style, including cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, ... We used the parking garage (for an additional fee) as this was just the most convenient solution for us. Would definitely stay again!

It was a bit chilly during the night. A second chair in the room would have been nice to have.

The hotel was very well organized and clean with friendly and responsive staff. It is near the Teltow train station, which gives direct access to the city center (like Brandenburger Tor or Potsdamer Platz).

While the connection to the city center is direct, due to the distance any visit is very time consuming, need to calculate extra time. Other than that no critique comes to mind.

Our new favourite for an overnight stay while crossing Germany to Poland. A modern hotel in a pretty, new neighbourhood. Dog friendly and a good place to charge our car. The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant very good. The kids also enjoyed the fairy tale theme. We had a good rest before continuing our journey.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe only it would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room but we took back the bottle we ordered for dinner.

I had a pleasant stay at this fairly comfortable and affordable hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

The only hiccup was that some gremlins seemed to be playing with our television, but overall, it was a great experience.

Very nice and modern building. Looks and feels more expensive than most 3 star hotels I've been to lately. Loved the Grimm's stories theme details. Room and toilet were very confortable. AC was a pus. Bike rental was great to explore the local area and reasonably priced. Loved the outdoor seating area of the restaurant for sunny days.

Breakfast was nothing special and felt a bit overpriced. Location was good for what we needed (we were attending a wedding in the vecinity) but would not chose it if wanting to visit the center of Berlin.
