Even if the Hotel was more like a "70s old style Pension", taking into account the prices for a room in Berlin, it was good for what I paid. I booked a room with shared bathroom. The room was small, cleaned and warm. The shared bathroom perfectly cleaned. The woman that own the Pension was nice and friendly to me and the breakfast a bit poor but enough. It's 5 to 7 minutes by walking from a tram stop that reaches Brandenburg Tor in ca. 30 minutes.

The bed was comfy, the room was spacious, with ensuite. Continental breakfast was all you could eat with fresh produce daily. Staff friendly, easy check in check out.

The decor was very dated, although some beautiful features throughout the building that could have been made more of. The shower was a corner cubicle that let the rest of the ensuite down as it was black with old mould in places, the shower head didn't have the correct fixing for it so kept falling off,which made it a bit awkward but it had a good flow and the heat was adjustable. All in all for the price it was a good stay.

the owner was very kind and affectionate. in the morning she cuddles everyone with warm croissants, she is really sweet and it was nice to meet her. The hotel has a family atmosphere. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean. The position to reach the university is excellent.

The slightly creaky floors may bother some people, but they remind me of home so it's fine like that :)

The room was clean, breakfast had plenty to choose from, the staff looked was very kind. I am pretty sure I will book this hotel again the next time I am in Berlin. The M48 bus in front of the hotel was means to use to get to downtown as well as to the Brandenburg Gate….I would recommend the location in the suburbs with plenty of restaurants in the area.

I did not get a warm welcome from Natasha. She was very impatient with me when I did not recognize a German word that she said. Other than that, I felt the other staff were warm and friendly.

Beautiful area, quiet, comfortable bed, good traditional German breakfast, clean, friendly staff, good WiFi. Everything I needed.

Decor a bit dated, shower and light a bit shonky, but don’t be put off by negative reviews. This was a good cheap place to stay.

Very nice room. Vintage style, very adorable. Breakfast was ok and location was perfect for my conference.

The shower was really old. Barely got any water out of it and it was cold in 2 minutes.

Hotel is okay for rhe price you pay, wifi connection is good, breakfast is good. It's close to train station and you can get to  the city center in 20 minutes. In total I recommend you to book a room with a private bathroom.

They don't speak English at the hotel receptionists , so communication is a problem. the room was cleaned, they don't do room cleaning everyday. The stairs and floor are not good and are noisy.

I had a very good stay. The room was clean and well equipped. The best thing was breakfast, it was very complete and varied.

Really quirky rooms from a bygone era. Clean and comfortable. Close to the train and out of the city in the most gorgeous neighbourhood. Trees, beautiful mansion houses and shops. Tranquil and green. A good respite from the busy city centre.
