Our stay at Hotel de Paris was exceptional. We chose this hotel because of it's location (inside the pedestrian zone of the old city). The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with an abundant choice of foods. The room was quiet with a lovely view and lots of windows. We were able to park at the hotel which made packing and unpacking easy as well as protecting our golf equipment that we left in the car. There was adequate room to spread out our belongings which made preparing for our adventures very easy. Definitely going back!! The bathroom had good light.

The bathtub/shower was difficult to step out of....

Great location, convenient parking, nice design, good breakfast, friendly staff, modern bathroom.

Due to small window the room was a bit dark. Serious issue however was the unpleasant smell - most likely due to old carpets everywhere - that reminded us on a recent visit of a museum for carpentry with century old exhibits. The smell caused nausea in 1 of 4 guests, but was perceived as significantly unpleasant by all guests. Perhaps, the Summer temperatures made the smell appear more intense?

We had requested a room that could accommodate 3 adults, and they were able to provide it, which is not always easy in any hotel and especially not in France. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us store our bags for a few hours. The breakfast was copious and had many options. It is suitable for travelers from many destinations. Our room was very comfortable and we all got a good night's sleep.

We were just there for one night and everything was very good. Nothing to complain about!

room 008 exactly what we asked for . on the ground floor parking for our motorcycle friendly helful staff the room clean shower excellent bed all good and confortable breakfast was ok the central location and what a suprise it was to be so close to the centre of a lovely town

a silly comment ; but probably instructions on the coffee machine I noticed people not knowing where to put the plactic capsules/pods into the machine to start it. obviously if you have one you know, but when on holiday you like to try different things

Great location with a lovely interior design which fits well to the ambience of a beautiful historical building. The location gives you great access to the various parts of the old city.

There was unfortunately no refrigerator in the room in order to keep items cool in warm temperatures. It would also have been great to have some glasses to enjoy something to drink with.

A fantastic room which was very spacious and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location meant that everything was easily accessible. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend.

Nothing: but be careful if you book with booking.com and change any part of your booking, you will have to reconfirm things like parking reservations.

Great central location but we weren't bothered by any street sound. Hotel has nice interior and historic feel. Check in was straightforward and efficient. Courteous staff. Recommended for a stay in Besancon.

Excellent location in the city center with direct access to the main streets. Parking (optional). Rooms are big and clean, a the hotel has a nice restaurant with efforts in design and furniture. Breakfast is ok. Pleasant stay in the city center of Besancon, I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for something affordable and quiet for you and your family

Lovely hotel. Stylish modern entrance lobby leading to reception (more impressive than the photos). Everything very modern and slick and well thought out. Reception very efficient, helpful and friendly. Rooms and bathroom were good. All very clean, you felt uplifted in this place. Worked perfectly for us.

Beautifully furnished public rooms and bedrooms. Great en-suite bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent secure car parking. Brilliant location. Good value for money.

Surprised there wasn't a bar. Apart from that, nothing to dislike.
