Location excellent. Just opposite train. Easy lovely walk through park and across river into old town about 15 min. Welcoming reception. Changed rooms for me so I did not have the smaller higher attic window. Much appreciated. Standard budget ibis but above average. Clean comfortable. Good value. Large music festival until late but otherwise despite being opposite train I found it quiet and had good nights sleep. Would stay again

Everything was OK for this kind of going-through hotel, I'd stay here again for a night or two. Location just by the train station, which is convenient for travellers.

The room is quite small (as expected), you cannot open the bathroom doors fully because of the bed, etc. The room doors are quite strange, you cannot close them without reallly banging them, so you hear the bangs of the other doors. :-) However, those are only small things, I'd stay here again without any problems.

I had a pleasant experience during my stay at the hotel. The staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful. The room was generally good. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, with a superb pizzeria nearby and easy access to the city center. Free parking was also convenient and hassle-free. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay

although there was a minor inconvenience with the showerhead not being properly fixed.

The location was excellent for our Flixbus drop off and for the train departure the following morning. Staff were very helpful especially when I needed a train ticket to be printed. Our room and bathroom were compact and this is reflected by the tariff. We enjoyed having the view also. Very good value for money.

Good location direct beside the train station and enough restaurants. Good room size for a family of 4. Basic room but fits the prize and for a 1 night stay over perfect.

Nothing really bothered us. Staff is not super friendly but if requests done will respond.

The proximity of the trains and restaurants . The personal of the hôtel was very attentive and reactive ,they were very available when i 'd met a personal problem . Though i don't expect,so i"m going toi give a +++++ toi m'y stay at Ibis budget Besançon centre gare.

The minor dislike was that it didn't mention that breakfast must be added through the reservation..

Across the street from the train station, this hotel is super convenient. Simply walk down the hill and across the river to enter the historic town. They have a10%off deal with the Italian restaurant downstairs, which is tasty and welcoming. Staff are super friendly and always ready to help. €8 buffet breakfast each morning kept me full and happy. The room was warm and spacious. Simple, but with a TV, desk, hanging space for coat & clothes, a comfy bed and a good sized bathroom. Which even had body wash in a nice big pump back - hooray for no small bottles creating waste! Great value for money.

The hotel was very easy to find, opposite the town centre station (Viotte). Staff were very helpful and polite when we checked in, whenever we went in and out, and at breakfast time. The room was clean and quite adequate for two people.

There was nothing we could really fault.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast sufficient. It was very quiet because we had a room in the yard.

There was no trash bin in the room (for plastic, paper or organic stuff) but just a little bucket in the bathroom. The double bed was too tiny for two adults of normal shape. There was no fridge in the room which is still ok in spring but not in the summer when we would like to keep soft drinks or sparkling water cooled or maybe a little salad.

Loved the town - busy but not over-commercialised . A great and unexpected surprise.Location not ideal for us, both with mobility issues, but excellent transport and free parking nearby. Also places to eat next to the hotel
