The hotel is very close to the main square (place Courbet) without being affected rhe busy-ness of the square. Our room (11) was very quiet with regard to outside noise (although there was some sound from the next floor up). Breakfast was good value for the money (€9); however, some real muesli as well as corkflakes and that other sugary cereal would have been nice.

The entrance to the hotel parking area is quite tight if you have a big car. If that worries you, there is a public parking space within 100 m.

Hiking on the Via Francigena, it's a long slog on city streets to get to the hotel but it is very close to the trail, which was great. It's a nice place to stay, nothing pretentious and it certainly met our needs. Breakfast is available (for a price) - we didn't try it, but it appeared to be popular with both guests and some locals. For dinner, recommend Restaurant La Table de Gustave which is located on a quiet square. Food was great, a very relaxing atmosphere after a long day of hiking.

We stayed during a father and son roadtrip across France. The hotel was on the edge of a lovely tourist town. The car park is a little tricky to find, but good. The room was nice. We asked for a twin room, and received a large room with a twin and single bed. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Busy, but a good selection. Take a little walk into the town, it is really worth it.

Very nice room; location an easy walk to downtown in one direction and to a grocery store in the other. Very helpful staff, with spot-on recommendations for dinner in town. Although located on a busy road, my room, facing the road, was perfectly quiet.

The staff helped me get laundry done and were very kind.

The hotel is across from the hospital, an ambulance arrived in the night and the lights were seen from the room. Otherwise a very quiet stay.

Nice room, comfortable beds. Great location in the centre of Ornans which is a very charming town. Free parking behind the house. Very friendly staff. Fairly priced.

Bedroom and shower room were larger than expected. Easy parking at the back with a short walk into the town. Helpful staff who arranged an earlier breakfast on request.
