- The reception and conciergerie staff went the extra mile to address any issues and ensure we felt comfortable. Definitely the highlight of our stay, the 10 is for you, thank you! - The hotel is probably one of the best-located in Berlin. - The building is impressive.

The first room we received had mold in the shower and dust from the carpets, which was problematic for someone with allergies. Since the hotel was almost fully booked, they couldn't move us the first night. However, they upgraded us to a different (and totally cleaned) room on the second night at no extra charge, which we appreciated.

Good location to some sights, train station to and from airport is a 5 min walk down the road. Very modern and clean with plenty of toiletries, hairdryer and empty fridge, coffee and tea in room, bed very comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful - the lobby and atrium area are stunning and the room was really lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable and the cocktails we had in the bar were great too. It is ideally located for exploring the sites around Berlin.

The only negatives we found where the gym - it wasn't easy to find as the wellness area is mainly a spa and sauna so great if you are looking to use them but not if you want a little workout. The breakfast was nice but at 34 euros each we thought it was quite pricey for what you got and the cocktails were lovely but the bar service was not so friendly - we didn't know it was table service and were spoken to a little rudely by two members of the team when approaching the bar and placing an order.

The location was great. Easy access from the train station to various other locations on foot. The staffs were friendly and helpful especially the dining staffs. Breakfast was great too, we had quite a few options to choose from the buffet.

The weather outside was sweltering, so we expected our room to be a cool oasis. However, the air conditioning felt more like a fan, and the temperature control wouldn’t go below 5 degrees, which was far from ideal. We had to request a room change because the air conditioning in our first room wasn’t functioning properly. Unfortunately, our second room wasn’t much better—I woke up several times at night, drenched in sweat. Our experience with housekeeping was also less than satisfactory. The bedsheet had stains, and despite requesting a change, nothing happened. Crumbs on the floor and table remained untouched throughout the entire week of our stay.

The room was spacious which is always a bonus. The bed and linen were very comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting restaurants, shops and the historical sites although I was visiting for the Euros. It was very easy to hail taxis and to use public transport. All staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

I was in Germany for nearly one month and do find the breakfast selections at all of the hotels where I stayed to be somewhat similar. However that is not specifically a criticism of the Westin. Staff in the breakfast dining room were very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, very stylish and comfortable. Good location for many of the sights. The bedroom was large and the bed, pillows and bedding was amazing - really good night's sleep. Helpful and friendly staff.

There was a lack of tea and coffee in the room - it was a bit 'style over substance' - only one black tea teabag plus a couple of fruit and decaffeinated bags. No milk, only coffee creamer (which is horrible in tea). Coffee was a pod machine with about 4 pods, two of which were decaffeinated. No instant coffee.We went out and bought our own... It's not very clear that the bar is table service rather than order at the bar. The restaurant has very few tables although they do serve food in the bar which would be ok if you don't mind sitting in a low chair to eat.

The location was great, couldn't be better. We had a real luck with the view of Unter den Linden, though it was a far off the hotel entrance and main hall.

Too expensive breakfast, extra charge for the sauna, working hours of the SPA area, no swimming pool, parking way too far from the hotel which resulted in a long wait for the car by checking out. We were very upset that the reception denied the request from our 13 YO son to call the parents to inform us that he arrived at the hotel safely. His phone didn't work and he was in a need for help. At the reception they told him that they don't have our number which was not true. Very sad indeed.

Excellent location. Very tasty breakfast. Great breakfast selection. Staff is mostly very friendly, except the person who barks how minutes are left when you arrive for breakfast. Very friendly baggage person. Hotel looks great inside and outside.

The staff at breakfast is partially excellent and partially not. Don't appreciate the person barking how many minutes are left when I enter the breakfast room or giving me what is clearly the wrong omelette and then acting as if it was my fault.

Location: excellent; walkable distance to many popular sightseeing spots; close to metro stations; department store, supermarket in the basement of a shopping centre and many eateries in the area. Room: good size and layout, comfortable, firm bed which we like, clean, quiet, contemporary as contrary to the rest of the building which is quite dated. Breakfast: pretty standard; limited selection of food but quality is good especially the fresh fruit and bread. Staff: Polite, friendly, efficient (especially those working in the breakfast room) and helpful.

We paid for a panoramic room. The room has panoramic scope but not the view. We saw only roof tops of other buildings, However, we did appreciate the brightness of the room because of the large windows. The drain of the shower wasn’t working well. We forgot to report that when we checked out.

The lobby saloon welcomes you into the facility with a feast to keen eyes that value the architectural quality of the hotel. It gives a unique feel to your experience. The location of the hotel is one of its strength as you can reach all corners of the city with ease, either by foot or subway which makes it very convenient.

Some rooms are harder to get to due to the layout of the hotel which can be tiring especially when you are tired coming back and you have to take elevator, get off and walk and walk and walk...
