The hotel was very clean and the gardens we’ll kept

Check in was a little strange… no welcome at all. Just passport please ?.. Felt as though we were an inconvenience for them , which did put a damper on the feeling of the hotel.

Room was spacious and modern with a good bathroom. Hotel located in a quiet street, a few minutes walk from a selection of shops and a couple of restaurants. Estoril is a great location as you can have a day on the beach (10 minutes walk) or get the train to Lisbon (15 minutes walk), or walk to Cascais (20 minutes).

The breakfast is the same every day, but quite adequate and the bakery products and coffee are good. Some of the reception staff don't speak English, but communication was OK in that respect overall. Surrendering of the room keys on a daily basis is unusual, but the Reception desk is continually manned, so not an issue for us. It is a decent walk to Estoril train station, (uphill in the evening!), but no big deal.

Very well maintained and cosy hotel with a beautiful tiny garden. Quiet and safe surroundings, friendly atmosphere, excellent underground parking. The cleaning ladies are super nice and always smiling, thank you for that!

As everyone mentions here, the options for breakfast are extremely limited: in terns of vegetables, it's either tasteless watermelon or melon (quite nice though), one type of ham, one - of cheese, tasteless yoghurt, white and dark buns, hard-boiled eggs and some spreads. Everything clearly the cheapest possible, so for breakfast I would give 3 stars out of 10. No lactose-free dairy options except the cheapest supermarket cheese. It would also be nice to provide the rooms with a tiny bar fridge given the hot climate and poor breakfast choice - at least to store something you buy at a supermarket.

Lovely family run hotel. Spotlessly clean including outdoor area, which was tended to throughout the day. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Owners and front of house staff were helpful and able to understand any requests even with my lack of Portuguese. Hotel is 5 minute walk from Poça Beach. Lovely walk along the front will take you into Cascais where there are more shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel is located between 2 train stations, each about 10/15 minute walk. This was useful for travelling into Lisbon.

This is a lovely small family hotel. We found the rooms very comfortable and adequately spacious. The showers were excellent. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was from 7.30 to 10 and was good. The choice of foods was limited but there were plenty of continental breakfast items. The pool, while small, was very much appreciated by us as was the parking space for our rental car in the hotel garage.

Choice and variety of breakfast items were quite limited.

The hotel and owners family were very hands on always doing something and generally being very nice when they were taking your key card or greeting you coming or going.

Although the walls were concrete and seemed quite solid it was a little bit noisy as regards TV on in the above room or below, maybe like an eco, pillows were a bit flimsy for my liking but everyone else seemed OK with them but spotlessly clean everywhere you were room cleaned everyday with fresh towels

Family run property. Clean. Lovely setting amongst renovated manor Houses in Estoril hills. Romantic looking property. Close to Estoril Casino, Garrett patisserie, and the promenade. Also fairly close to the train station. Fair facilities for a 2 star no frills property. The hotel provided lactose free milk for breakfast. Friendly staff. Free internet. Quiet property. Restful. Lovely gardens.

Narrow streets, can be difficult to park/manoeuvre. Best to ditch the car! Limited parking in the hotel underground parking.

We needed a room with parking space, breakfast, somewhere close to Lisbon, comfortable and not too expensive, and we found this to be the perfect choice for our many conditions. The hotel gives a nice old-timey feeling but not in a bad way. The underground private parking garage had enough space for our rent-a-car and it really put our mind at ease. The hotel also had a pool which we sadly didn’t have time to try out. The breakfast was okay, not too much choice but enough for anyone. The capuccino was above expectations and orange juice is a must. Also loved the location which was only a 10min walk to the Estoril train station from where the CP trains drive to Lisbon every 20min. Generally it was a very nice stay!

This hotel is clean and well run. The check in was smooth and clear, with all staff speaking good English (helpful for me). It is light, airy and cool. The rooms are tidy and a mix of traditional decor with modern appliances. The breakfast was very adequate for me, with a mixture of fruit, yoghurts, rolls and jams being available. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, if the nearby beach is less to your liking.

The road outside needs attention, quite narrow and cars moving quite quickly. The electronic credit card room key was surrendered on leaving the hotel to visit the town, and staff were not always readily on hand to find it on returning to the hotel, although ringing the desk bell did work.

A little noisy when babies crying but that was rare. The only complaint I have was a couple of staff interactions and maybe something was lost in translation. But I have never had someone give me a hard time about asking for toilet tissue before. And when I approached the locked dining room for breakfast three minutes before the “official opening “ time of 7:30 AM, I really didn’t appreciate a woman coming out and pointing, repeatedly pointing, to the sign near the door with the posted hours. My bad, I guess, but I swear I was verbally told 7:00 am when I checked in. Many diverse nationalities, we may have been the only English-speakers.
