The rooms are charming, roomy and comfortable and the location is great. It has off street parking and is just a short walk to the beach. It's more of a small hotel than a traditional B&B but it does come with a delicious breakfast. This place has it all. Rooms, a great restaurant and a nice, separate bar. We enjoyed all of these things, even if we did miss out on an 80s dance night that was there while we stayed. Where this place absolutely shines is the staff. They're beyond amazing. They didn't just meet our needs, they anticipated them and showed us such kindness and thought. It made the finale to our trip feel really special.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. It was our first stop after landing in Dublin and when we arrived at the hotel I told Richard I needed a pint after I put my bags in the room and he said "Don't worry I'll have it ready for you downstairs!" That ideal seemed to be the motto for our stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly and the food was amazing. The Irish breakfast was fantastic. The room looked way more charming in person than in the photos. They should hire a new photographer to update the posting. I was surprised since normally it is the opposite, super charming rooms with an ocean view!

I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay here. Staff were really friendly and so approachable and kind. They couldn't be nicer. I only ever stayed here this one time and wasn't expecting such a nice experience as I had experienced other BnB stays that we're way below this particular standard so I was blown away at the kindness of the staff and most importantly how airy and bright the place was. It was absolutely sparkling clean and I couldn't believe how well it was kept. The artwork was vintage and the tiles in the bathroom were vintage as was the style of the decor but it worked really well because he room was sparkling clean and really complimented the entire style of the building because it was well kept. In other stays at BnBs we experienced dated and old decor that just felt dated and carried a musky scent, so I was pleased to see that the staff had high attention to detail and cleanliness here to encourage the decor to be vintage and with a modern take and fresh smelling which was very refreshing and welcoming. The window was open in the room when we got there so it carried a nice bright and fresh feel to the room once entered. Absolutely excellent attention to detail. I just can't speak highly enough. We had a lovely sleep in a massive super king bed which was an absolute dream to spend a night in and we also had a tv eith standard channels. Shower was adjustable strength and temperature which made for lovely relaxing showers and a nice bright and clean toilet space. The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was great and the staff were very kind yet again which was wonderful to wake up to as a morning welcome with some nice grub. Best part of the entire experience was the Guinness. Some of the nicest Guinness I have ever had, and it was a shock but couldn't have enjoyed it more, and I most certainly will be back to experience this wonderful place in full again.
I can't pick, I really had a great time because it's all so wonderful and the staff were amazing. I don't personally have downfalls. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.

Luxurious, cosy, just lovely. Amazingly soft carpet. Friendly staff. Beautiful paintings lining the hallways. Wide windows looking onto the beach.
The water pressure in the shower was not great. Overall the shower was disappointing. Perhaps the head needs refitting or cleaning. Thin streams of water shooting out sharply at all angles. Thankfully there was a bath, otherwise I don't know how I could have washed my hair. This was the only issue. There is no inroom phone to let reception know, and I was hardly going to go down and complain with wet hair late in the evening.

Well let's start at the most important aspect of any hotel in my opinion, the staff, and all I can say is the staff here are excellent, I found everyone I spoke to, from the guys at the desk, bar and serving staff, night porter, housekeeping, everyone, are so helpful, the hotel itself is in a fantastic location, it is virtually on the beach, which I must add has just been awarded a blue flag award, at least I think that's what it's called. The food is very good indeed and the rooms are bright and clean, and have all the usual TV, tea/coffee facilities, and I slept really well. If you are looking to stay in the local area then this is a no brainer, it really is a fantastic place to stay.
I am being absolutely honest I can't fault anything here, I will always try to stay here when I am in the area.

Breakfast was excellent and staff were super friendly. Gary the manager helped us upgrade to a Seaview upon asking. We had the most comfortable sleep in ages listening to the sea. Would come back again and again.
Although the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was hearty and staff were superb there is really nothing I could complain at all about, except maybe the furniture although beautiful were a little rickety and a little tired but obviously well loved.

We got a room with seaview thought we booked a garden room. That was a lovely surprise. Huge room with huge bed, very good mattress. Hotel in front of the beach. We went for a swimm before dinner in the Hotelpub. Delicious Seafood chowder and fish and chips Delicious breakfast à la carte, freshly prepared irish breakfast! Fresh fruits and natural yoghurt. .Perfect! Very friendly staff upon check-in, in the pub and in the breakfast restaurant.
Absolutely nothing to complain about

This BNB exceeded our expectations on several fronts. It is advertised as a luxury BNB and it actually is ! The room was fantastic, paintings on the walls, intricate tilework in the bathroom, a full body shower and ocean views. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are above a beautiful bar with a friendly barmaid who educated us on how to pour Guinness properly. Breakfast was brilliant - full irish and one of the best we had on our visit. I would highly recommend this BNB !

Great location for the beach nice long beach,.I didn't eat dinner in the hotel so can't comment on that but I ate in Chinese across the road and it was lovely and a good price..not many other pubs around just a couple more in laytown which is a short drive away.breakfast was large and very good..
Rooms spotless but maybe dated I couldn't manage to work the manual radiator, other than that nothing to worry about.probably could do with a shower cap for ladies in the bathroom..

Location on the seafront was good and the beach walk exhilarating. Interesting property, seen better times but comfortable and everything working. A big plus was the food served on the premises, which was fab. And the hot breakfast was good too.
It was the most expensive of our stays and not sure totally worth the price asked. Not convinced the word ‘Luxury’ in the description was completely accurate, but then that’s a subjective judgement call I guess.
