The breakfast was amazing! There was so much to choose from including smoothies, fruit, pasties cereal and a cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. They couldn't do enough for us. The reception and bar staff were also very kind and helpful to all. We didn't manage to see the spa as we had such a busy weekend, but other guests said how nice it was and we'll make use of it when we hopefully get to return. It was also very accessible and comfortable for older members I'd the family who had mobility issues. We all had a wonderful time.

I can't think if a single thing just wish I had more time to explore the gardens and visit the spa.

Possible to order food to the hotel and staff will provide you with utensils - if required. The 12pm checkout is also a bonus - especially in this part of the country where there's really no need to be rushing out. The grounds are quiet as well.

Lack of onsite food options - but, make of that what you will. It would be nice to have the extra food from breakfast available later in the day if it's going to be discarded and that way, for those who want a light meal they can buy or at least make it possible to make a packed lunch. Would definitely come back again though and explore and would recommend you visit.

Loved the attention to detail of furniture and layout particularly in our bedroom .. adored the stunning gardens .. requested a beautiful view and room looked out onto the garden .. considering it was towards end of October weather was dry sunny and wonderful

went for breakfast .. my husband enjoyed full Irish breakfast .. thank you .. however l have an ongoing stomach issue and did not go for full Irish breakfast .. l was happy with cereal, tea and toast .. when l asked for poached egg was told only had fried or scrambled .. three ladies n kitchen .. was rather gobsmacked and disappointed ..

I booked as a family of 4, and on arrival was allocated the 2 rooms i was ‘forced’ to book - however one of the rooms we were allocated had 6 beds and was more than adequate yet i was still charged for 2 rooms

Where do I start ?.. the staff are amazing, especially marrin , he will look after anyone, very nice chap , I was introduced to damian the GM he made my stay very comfortable and welcoming. I will always come back to this hotel , it's extremely clean and tidy. Lovely atmosphere, it feels like home from home. Best hotel in drogheda by far.

No cooked food . No bar food , not even a few chips , no sandwiches, you have to manage on crisps or chocolate. But the hotel doesn't mind you ordering food , they even set you up with plates and cutlery , sometimes staff at hotel will order the food ..

Excellent stay ! Hotel and location absolutely beautiful. It felt you were in the country side surrounded by a lovely garden. The room was lovely and the breakfast pleasantly surprised me.

It didn’t bother me in the slightest but the pool was in a different building but it was just around the corner of the hotel which I wasn’t aware of before coming. The hotel room was quite warm even with the window open so struggled to sleep a little bit.

Beautiful place ....old world charm nicely renovated with modern facilities, beds were not the most comfortable. But everything else was good, lovely Bfast, good location. One of the places recommended by the wedding couple, convenient to all the places we attended prior to wedding. It was great that parking was available on site.

I felt like the beds were two fold outs placed next to each other with separate bedding. I was travelling with my son. I guess a bar fridge would have been handy for water etc.

In period premises(Regency) with very pleasant access & grounds; spacious private car park; ready access to coast, near to several places of interest of world & national significance though access to these is through traffic-busy Drogheda. Comfortable, clean, well-appointed premises with large double bed, spacious room, bath. Rural view from room. Tasty breakfast.

Disappointing the swimming pool & facilities are unavailable (although this is made quite clear in advance).

Well located, lots of free parking, spacious, comfortable bedroom, good buffet breakfast, nearby gastopub a few minutes walk, helpful, friendly, professional staff.

It has no restaurant, but this was made clear in advance and did not affect our experience.

breakfast was a good selection of hot food only thing missing was fried eggs scrambled on request, cerals fruit juices and pasteries and cold meat selection, tea and coffee. The room its self was excelent clean and comfy, tea and coffee making in room too. The restaurant was undergoing referbishment so dinner was not available but could order take aways and eat them in the bar.

Lack of air conditioning room to hot even with thermostat turned off. and windows would only open a tiny bit (because of safety reasons) I get that! had to turn off the heated towel rail as the heat was building up in the main room.
