On arrival at the property we were given a friendly welcome by Katie. We had intended checking in around 4pm but were running very late and didn't arrive till after 9:30 pm.This wasn't a problem to our affable host. The children were asleep within minutes of climbing into the very comfortable beds.It actually took effort to wake them from their peaceful slumber in order to get breakfast. Having stayed in many B+B's and Hotels over the years I can honestly say that the breakfast Katie and her staff put up would compare with anywhere and exceed the fare available at the vast majority of other properties. There was a wide and varied array of cereals, fresh fruit etc to whet you appetite for what was to follow.Everything was cooked just right on the 'Irish Breakfast',Katie even acceded to my request for some beans on the side. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere around the place and from chatting to some fellow guests, they too were very happy with their choice and one lady commented that her bed was that comfortable that she had 'her best nights sleep in years!' Location wise this B+B is perfect for people intending to fly out in the morning from Dublin airport as it is in a relatively short commute. Or alternatively for people arriving into Dublin on an evening flight who might be renting out a car and don't want a long drive to their hotel or B+B on the first night.
Could not really find fault with anything.

Cute and hotel like (in a good way). The owner was super friendly. Great room and it was clean/comfy. Would stay here again! Really liked the guest book with recommendations and helpful info.
Can hear a decent bit through the walls, but nobody was super loud. I just realized it after I had my morning alarms go off around 5 AM and then I heard a neighboring guest shuffle around a little (felt bad I may have woken them up, but they did not complain). The tea kettle had a little bit of remnants left from a prior stay. Wish there was a way to grab some kind of breakfast outside of regular hours. This is nitpicky stuff in case it helps, I honestly loved the place.

Hillview House was one of the best places we’ve stayed! It’s in a quiet spot with just a few houses around, which made it feel really peaceful. I was there with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. There’s a small bar with drinks like beer and whiskey, and even a TV if you want to watch football. You can also order local food for delivery—the menu is right there at the bar. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well kept. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s run by a lovely family, and there’s free parking too. Honestly, it deserves 5 stars—I’d give it more than 10 if I could!

One of the best stays we’ve had! Hillview House is in a quiet area with just a few houses around, which actually made it feel really peaceful and relaxing. I stayed here with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed our time. The staff were super friendly and the service was excellent—very professional, better than many B&Bs we’ve stayed in. There’s a small bar with drinks like beer and whiskey, plus a TV if you want to watch football or just relax. You can even order local food for delivery—the menu is at the bar, which is a great idea. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious, the place is run by a lovely family, and there’s free parking too. Honestly, it deserves 5 stars—we would rate it higher than 10 if we could!
Everything was perfect 😍

Quiet location, 30 mins walk from the town, staff friendly and plenty of parking. Room was large and had everything one needed for an overnight stay. Very convenient for Dublin ferry - if you don’t want to stay in a town.
Breakfast was from 8, and non negotiable, which was a shame when the property advertises its location for travel links, eg airport / ferry. We had to be gone by 8 to catch the ferry so couldn’t have breakfast and there was no flex. If they could offer a breakfast box that one could have in your room at your desired time I feel this would be a great addition.

We needed a place to stay that way close to the airport. This place was perfect. It was very clean, in a peaceful setting and very comfortable. It was easy to get to the airport. We also spent time in nearby Skerries the night before. Skerries was a cute little beach town!
It was not walking distance to anything, but we had a car and needed to be near the airport to return the car and catch our flight.

The house is awesome, as the rooms, which are silent at night. Staff is very kind and polite. Breakfast is great, a fantastic Full Irish breakfast! The outdoor area looks nice, even if unfortunately we could take advantage of it, due to the weather.
Nothing really, just a side note: if your room is close to the breakfast area, be aware that you'll hear noises from the moment breakfast starts (8am). This obviously makes and it's part of game, no big deal. I suppose some earplugs will fix it!

This is a cross between a traditional B&B and a boutique hotel. This rambling set of buildings is located in a really quiet and picturesque area with some lovely beaches a short drive away. We were recommended to visit Red Island, Skerries and Mulahide Harbour, both were excellent. Our room was really comfortable and a hearty breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. Our host, John, could not have been more welcoming.
There was a consistent drip, drip, drip noise coming from the guttering (I think) right outside the room and for me it was difficult to tune it out. Also, for our room anyway, although we could connect to the WiFI the signal was pretty weak so resorted back to using data. Just minor in the scheme of things.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room, with the added bonus of being able to log into your own Netflix account.. a great help keeping the little one occupied. Great traditional breakfast with plenty of choice, even for children, Niall loved the fruit bowl. Very friendly and helpful hosts, even helped to order pizza, nothing was too much trouble.
There is nothing that we did not like about Hillview House.

The owners were really sweet and lovely. We paid extra for the warm breakfast and they are not stingy with the servings, so I would recommend. She also gave my daughters some extra Easter eggs she had (since we were there a few days after Easter). The room was clean and quiet. It was about a 15 minute drive to the airport and there's a gas station on the way to refill the rental car.
Only thing I can think of is that the shower didn't drain super well.
