No issue made when I requested an accessible room & shower. Central location. Good food. Good service from well trained, professional & pleasant staff. Cleanliness. Spacious bathroom.
Room was a little dark & dated. Having to walk via the car park barrier to access the hotel reception is not ideal - may be a H&S issue! Bedside light switches a bit far away from the bed.

The staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Food and drink for lunch and evening meals exceptional and excellent value. We felt we were with friends rather than hotel clients. Duty managers Diana and Bridget are gems,as are Ros on reception, Tommy who presides over evening dining plus other serving staff. The entire team are local and mutually supportive. Rooms were spotlessly, very comfy beds. The hotel is clearly a vital community hub as well which supports local life and culture. We were guests of the local community not commercial clients. Evening meals exceptional despite being booked to capacity. We will always cherish this stay.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the lift was out of service and my partner has an ongoing issue with his hip and leg, on the Sun night he was unable to go down to the restaurant for tea. I went to bring our meal up to the bedroom from the bar to and the barman immediately offered room service and brought our food up even tho we were on the 4th floor he was not a bit put out that he had to carry 2 trays up 4 flights of stairs. The next morning my partners leg and hip were extremely painful and he was unable to put his foot to the ground. I went to reception and the staff immediately helped us ringing an ambulance and reassuring us all would be ok and not to worry , they provided a lovely lunch for us as well. My partner went to hospital in the ambulance and reception staff organized staff to bring our luggage down . I want to commend the staff at bracken court for making an extremely stressful situation better and my partner and myself will definitely come back and stay in the not too distant future.
The only issue was the lift was out of service and that was out of everyone's control

The staff are caring, the food and atmosphere at the restaurant/bar were absolutely lovely. Breakfast includes both continental AND hot food options. The bar has televisions and a fireplace I cannot get enough of. It is a cozy place to gather on gloomy wintery evenings. The staff are down-to-earth and considerate and lovely. The rooms have been classy, clean and very comfortable. For me it feels like a safe place to come “home” to when away from home.
Older building (Castle-esque:) means occasional issues with modern plumbing (in the shower). Staff took care of it as professionals in the hospitality industry would. My personal preference would be if I could adjust room temperatures myself, but if you like it on the cooler side, that’s what windows are for! :)

Great value for money ! We booked Bracken Court last minute, as we had to travel unexpectedly. What a gem of a place! I am giving the hotel full marks as I have nothing to complain about! Upon arrival, the staff were so friendly, the hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. Even the shower was great! We only stayed one night, so we only had breakfast. We are both Coeliacs, with which there was no issue at all. We had gluten-free toast, and I ordered an omelette from the kitchen. It was the tastiest omelette I have ever had. I can't fault the hotel in anyway, the style of the hotel is lovely too. It's easy to reach from the motorway. I am very happy with our unexpected stay, and we will be back.
I can't fault the hotel one bit!

We chose this hotel, our final night in Ireland, primarily for being within half an hour of the airport. I wish we had more time to explore the seaside vicinity and town, which looked interesting. We had already been to Dublin so didn't benefit from Dublin's nearness (except the airport) but others might choose to stay here and make day trips into Dublin. We were on the fourth floor and had a distant, over-the-rooftops, ocean view (I wouldn't recommend paying extra for that). The room was bigger than we expected, also the en suite bathroom, so that was nice.
Breakfast was available from 6.30 (a positive for those with morning flights) but is quite pricey. I expected 12€ but it was 16€

The only reason I didn't give a 10 was the breakfast. I probably went down with my partner at the wrong time at about 10am. It was fairly hectic and the staff were really trying their best but were definitely stretched. Food is always great at the hotel. Staff in the bar were super nice, I think some were new, when we finished our food we were approached and ask if we wanted the bill straight away but, if I was to recommend, they should ask if we wanted another drink 😉 we were in the bar afterall. I think it was more new starter being great abd attentive. But nonetheless the staff in the bar were great. Now on to the reception every single person on reception treated us like friends, so welcoming and a credit to the premises.
Hectic breakfast time.

Balbriggan is a little tired, obviously seen better days - but it's having some money spent on the harbour and beach areas, so I think it has a bright future. The beach was fantastic. Hotel was very pleasant, comfy and clean. Breakfast was great, but options for evening dining not so much. However, there are other places to eat in town, not too far away. Parking was free and no hassle, just below the hotel.
Evening dining options.

We had dinner in the bar and it was honestly the nicest food we have eaten out in a long time... would definitely recommend for evening meal.. Staff were really helpful and accommodating too. Will be back (but will request an off the street room!). Room was really clean.
Furniture in room could be improved - material on chair ripped, top of desk in need of sanding and varnish. Bed was very comfortable though and room was very clean.

hotel was centrally located, reasonably priced. convenient parking which was validated upon checkout. full bath & separate shower which was excellent when travelling with baby. Free travel cot. excellent menu in bar downstairs & very friendly & efficient staff.
only issue was there were 8 steps up to our room which meant both of us had to return to room to lift pram up the stairs......
