Restaurant on site with excellent menu and good range of G-F options. Breakfast was amazing- excellent selection and range of food types Very helpful and friendly staff.

Online it was described as 1.5 miles from the airport. It took our taxi driver much longer to get there than it did for the shuttle bus to take us back to the airport the following morning!!! Hence our taxi bill was higher than expected!!! It was impossible to find out where to go to get the shuttle bus from T2 to the hotel - hence we ended up with an unnecessary & expensive taxi bill.

Free airport shuttle and breakfast

Water temperature in shower was tepid, not hot. There needs to be better instructions for the shuttle pick-up location at the airport. Exactly where to find it and which Holiday Shuttle to look for. We waited where we were told but should have waited across where buses were. There were different Holiday Inn buses and we nearly took the wrong one. Would be good to have clear instructions on check-in information ahead of time.

Note this is for the Crowne Plaza as I received an upgrade since the Holiday Inn wasn’t available yet. Breakfast was great, good variety and quality. Loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Available from 6am which worked great for my schedule. Staff was very attentive. Check in was smooth. Front desk personnel was kind and friendly despite it being close to midnight. Room was all I expected and needed as it was just one night before an early flight. I felt great in the morning after a restful sleep.

The shuttle at the airport. Was told they would run at 15 past the hour and quarter to the hour but it only came once in a full hour. It was after 10pm so I assume that was the reason. However, the one in the morning at 7am was punctual. I know Irish people are the kindest, but the driver went above and beyond. He helped me with some luggage and it just felt like a great start of the day just before flying. Thank you :)

We were upgraded from the Holiday Inn to the Crown Plaza due to some renovating. A lovely comfortable stay, great buffet breakfast and very friendly staff. We ate in the bar at night which was very good and again the staff were very nice. The airport shuttle service left from Zone 16 and maybe we were lucky but we had no waiting, just stepped straight on in both directions.

We were upgraded to the Crowne Plaza as holiday inn were doing renovations. Fabulous choice of self service breakfast, fresh fruits, cereals, breads, cold meats, cheeses, hot food. The best breakfast. All the staff were so friendly. A free shuttle bus to/from airport.

The choice of evening food was limited. Not many options for small snacks. Not everyone wants a big meal while travelling, main meals a bit pricey.

Staff were both friendly and accommodating. My son (who may be an adult but still wants mum with him)had hospital visits so was both tired and irritable but receptionist made him smile and feel welcome. This helped take the grouch out of him.

The plug in the sink of our room was impossible to lift. The toilet wasn’t keen on flushing. We had to leave and go home ☹️.

Like the location, appreciated an earlier check-in after travelling down from Northern Ireland to fly out next day. Like the shuttle and size of bus - no one left behind.

Rooms were a bit beat up. Grout in showers was moldy/dirty. Doors are very loud - seem to slam all the time. Stay included free breakfast. My daughter was disappointed there were no vegan/vegetarian wraps as listed. Staff, told us no problem they would have one made up. We kept asking but after 45 min of waiting we had to give up and leave to catch our shuttle and bus. So my daughter had to travel without a breakfast. Very disappointing. We were booked at Holiday Inn but moved to Crown Plaza without explanation???

We booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express but as that hotel is closed for renovations, we were given an upgrade to a room at the Crowne Plaza which was right next door. We were very impressed with the hotel and our room, which was clean and large. The king bed and pillows were really comfortable! And the a/c worked great, too. The only negative for us was the lighting in our bathroom was very dim, making it difficult to put contacts in, apply makeup, etc. Front desk staff was super welcoming and nice. The best part was the breakfast buffet. It was amazing! The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated and the selection and quality of food was incredible. Just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it, as we had to catch an early flight and were short on time. I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza!

Arrived and was told that the Holiday Inn express had been taken over by IHG so we had been upgraded to the Crowne Plaza next door! Hotel was beautiful, clean, brilliantly helpful staff, comfortable beds and lovely room. Also, they have a free shuttle to the hotel from the airport that comes every half an hour and is a great service. We used it a few times as you can also get buses into the centre from the airport. We were allowed to check in early and the breakfast selection is amazing!

On our last day the hotel put on a tiny shuttle bus that didn't cater for the amount of people that were going to the airport. This caused us abit of a delay but hotel worked quickly and efficently to resolve the issue and we still got to the airport in plenty of time. Apart from that, our stay was perfect.

I should clarify that this is for the Crowne Plaza, not Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle driver told us when we were picked up at the airport that we were going to the “sister hotel”. And sure enough they had our reservation. That being said, we had a very comfortable stay. Just an overnight to get back to the airport. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The buffet in the morning was spectacular, I wish I could have had a leisurely breakfast rather than rushing off. The airport shuttle was very convenient.

I wish the communication had been better. We had no idea we were going to a different hotel or why. To be fair it was probably an upgrade. Although there was no WiFi. The hotel is old but elegant. The hallways could use some TLC. And the hotel is very large as it is also a conference center. We had a room as far from the elevators as it could be. For our 7 hour stay, had I known, I would have asked for something closer.
